A fallout between two members of Humanis, led to one of them (the Johnson) hiring the runners to kill his rival, Roger McCarthy and thus cement his position within the policlub, uncontested.

The meet took place at the Node.

The team recruited another PC mid run to do hacking and one of the runners agreed to split her pay. The team scouted out the area and sewers and used explosives and dynamic entry to put down the target and the guards, although the guard's retaliation did mess up the runners quite a bit in legal, non lethal way (using toxin filled capsule rounds and screech rifles).

The Johnson used the footage taken by the runners during the fight and used at as campaign material to fuel the fire of metahuman hate. Blaming the killings on metahumans, and secretly killing his rival. He managed to kill two birds with one stone

- Almost got fragged by some acursed rats in the sewers, messed up by damn suit.

- Decided on breaking in through a side door while posing as workmen, making our way up the 11th floor where the target conference is taking place, wreck the joint and scarper through the sewers.

- Plan went off without a hitch, team took a bit of heat form the guards with narcojet, but I powered us through.

- Forwarded the footage to the J and got paid, the Humanis fuck.

==Background==
Larxene was born in Kyoto Japan, to a wealthy family. She was born the Date clan, a once proud and great clan during the Sengoku and Edo period,
now reduced to a Yakuza crime syndicate. When she was born, her nerves in her arms and legs were dead.
She spent her childhood, being mouthfed and without the use of her limbs. When she was about 15, she was fitted with cyberware.
Her father wanted her to become a Yakuza, so he taught her how to swing a sword. The training was harsh and unforgiving.

When she turned 17, she found out about her magical capabilites. A deal with the Date clan and another Yakuza family went wrong, and weapons were pulled.
As soon as Larxene drew her sword, a mask appeared on her face, she was able to dodge all the bullet fire and neutralize the enemy.
However the night was far from over. She ran back home, to see the mansion she lived was in flames.
The Date clan was being hunted down. She immediately boarded a plane and fled japan.

As the plane touched down, she walked out and realized she was in a city called Seattle.
She spent another 2 years in the city, trying to live off of whatever money she could manage to scavenge.
One night she walked through the barrens, and got attacked by an infected.
After a couple of exchanged blows, she lost her right eye. When the Infected got its chance, it bit her but it didn't finish her off.
It seemed that it intended to spread its disease. Larxene lived that day, but she'd spend the rest of her life trying to satsfy
her thirst for blood, and live off of shadowrunning.

Larxene was born in Osaka Japan, to a wealthy family. She was born the Date clan, a once proud and great clan during the Sengoku and Edo period,
now reduced to a Yakuza crime syndicate. When she was born, she was terribly ill, resulting in her body necroding from an early age.
Her vains were black, and her right eye was always bloodshot. She would always be in burning physical pain, but overtime it dulled her senses, and she didn't feel it as much anymore.
At the age of 12, her right eye fell out of its socket, becoming completely blind and useless. "Your eye will become a liability some day." Her father said as he walked up to her, and ripped it out.
She screamed out in pain, grabbing a near by blade and stabbing her father in the jaw, causing him to stagger back. However he wasn't even the least bit angry.
"In order to be a true member of the Date, you must learn to master your pain, and not allow it to conquer you" He walked away, as Larxene is left holding her bleeding eye socket.

Her father would force her to learn martial arts after the day her eye was plucked out. She was trained with a sword. She was taught it was distasteful to use guns, and in order to understand your opponent, you must be up close and personal.
At age 14, she comitted her first murder. An assassin had broken into the house, and was attempting to kill Larxene's father. She woke up, catching him in the act.
As their eyes met, she swiftly cut him down, however she had noticed something very odd. Her blade was glowing, and a strang mask appeared on her face.
She simply brushed off the strange event, going to sleep, and not even letting her father know of the situation.

When she turned 18, she began succumbing to the illness more, and lost most of the use of her limbs. Now knowing her father, she knew this was unacceptable.
So payed a doctor to sever her limbs, and replace them with cyberware. It turned out to be ultimately for the best, for her physical capabilites were increased drastically.
Her father would often send her to do wetwork for the Yakuza, mainly on more combative task, when negotiation isn't an option.
During these jobs she noticed, the mask would always appear when she used her sword. She found out, that she had magical powers, and the mask was the mark of a spirit.
She was chosen by the stag spirit, for her prowess with the sword.

When she turned 22 her father died of old age, and she was now head of the Date clan. She would start dealing with other Yakuza groups, forming an alliance.
There was one group in particular, that she was the closest too. In order to form a strong bond, they offered to marry off their daughter to Larxene.
She agreed to this unknowing of their true intentions. They attempted to kill her at the wedding, but she managed to escape. She burnt her sin, and booked a plane out of Japan.

The plane landed in seattle. She paid for a hotel room, until she could find a new residence. She noticed sudden changes in herself. Her skin was pale and she had sharp canines.
Thats when she noticed. The Yakuza that tried to kill her. The daughter they "Offered" her was a vampire. She must have infected her when she was asleep.
She knew then that she would have to live a life, of feeding off human blood to survive.

Her vains were black, and her right eye was always bloodshot. She would always be in burning physical pain, but overtime it dulled her senses, and she didn't feel it as much anymore.
At the age of 12, her right eye fell out of its socket, becoming completely blind and useless. "Your eye will become a liability some day." Her father said as he walked up to her, and ripped it out.
She screamed out in pain, grabbing a near by blade and stabbing her father in the jaw, causing him to stagger back. However he wasn't even the least bit angry.
"In order to be a true member of the Date, you must learn to master your pain, and not allow it to conquer you" He walked away, as Larxene is left holding her bleeding eye socket.

Her father would force her to learn martial arts after the day her eye was plucked out. She was trained with a sword. She was taught it was distasteful to use guns, and in order to understand your opponent, you must be up close and personal.
At age 14, she comitted her first murder. An assassin had broken into the house, and was attempting to kill Larxene's father. She woke up, catching him in the act.
As their eyes met, she swiftly cut him down, however she had noticed something very odd. Her blade was glowing, and a strang mask appeared on her face.
She simply brushed off the strange event, going to sleep, and not even letting her father know of the situation.

When she turned 18, she began succumbing to the illness more, and lost most of the use of her limbs. Now knowing her father, she knew this was unacceptable.
So payed a doctor to sever her limbs, and replace them with cyberware. It turned out to be ultimately for the best, for her physical capabilites were increased drastically.
Her father would often send her to do wetwork for the Yakuza, mainly on more combative task, when negotiation isn't an option.
During these jobs she noticed, the mask would always appear when she used her sword. She found out, that she had magical powers, and the mask was the mark of a spirit.
She was chosen by the stag spirit, for her prowess with the sword.

When she turned 22 her father died of old age, and she was now head of the Date clan. She would start dealing with other Yakuza groups, forming an alliance.
There was one group in particular, that she was the closest too. In order to form a strong bond, they offered to marry off their daughter to Larxene.
She agreed to this unknowing of their true intentions. They attempted to kill her at the wedding, but she managed to escape. She burnt her sin, and booked a plane out of Japan.

The plane landed in seattle. She paid for a hotel room, until she could find a new residence. She noticed sudden changes in herself. Her skin was pale and she had sharp canines.
Thats when she noticed. The Yakuza that tried to kill her. The daughter they "Offered" her was a vampire. She must have infected her when she was asleep.
She knew then that she would have to live a life, of feeding off human blood to survive.

I'm honestly jealous of regular people, with simple lives. I never grew up with parents, or anyone to connect to. I grew up at the Renraku headquarters in Japan. Born in a test tube, not a child, but an experiment. I was built to become a combatant trained in the ways of the sword... Sometimes I would go on the internet, and see images of what the outside world looked like. It was bright and beautiful. I wondered, why couldn't I be out there like everyone else? I was being controlled by the people in this corporation. I grew sick of it and left. I escaped. Grabbed all of my belongings, and "borrowed" some stuff from the hq. Took the first plane out of the country. Arrived in germany. I made a special friend here. She can't walk, and honestly I feel bad for her. I hope to somehow help her, get her legs back. She was headed to some place called Seattle. This was the first person, that was nice to me, so I followed her. Maybe I can put the training I was given to use. Born in a test tube, not a child, but an experiment. I was built to become a combatant trained in the ways of the sword... Sometimes I would go on the internet, and see images of what the outside world looked like. It was bright and beautiful. I wondered, why couldn't I be out there like everyone else? I was being controlled by the people in this corporation. I grew sick of it and left. I escaped. Grabbed all of my belongings, and "borrowed" some stuff from the hq. I'm honestly jealous of regular people, with simple lives. I never grew up with parents, or anyone to connect to. I grew up at the Renraku headquarters in Japan. Born in a test tube, not a child, but an experiment. I was built to become a combatant trained in the ways of the sword... Sometimes I would go on the internet, and see images of what the outside world looked like. It was bright and beautiful. I wondered, why couldn't I be out there like everyone else? I was being controlled by the people in this corporation. I grew sick of it and left. I escaped. Grabbed all of my belongings, and "borrowed" some stuff from the hq. Took the first plane out of the country. Arrived in germany. I made a special friend here. She can't walk, and honestly I feel bad for her. I hope to somehow help her, get her legs back. She was headed to some place called Seattle. This was the first person, that was nice to me, so I followed her. Maybe I can put the training I was given to use. I am quite proffecient with the sword...

A Nodachi with the Kanji "Yamato" engraved on the blade. Ah. An elegant weapon for a much more civilized age. You know there is some pretty cool mythology behind this weapon. They say long ago, it was used to close the gate to the Demon World. Although I doubt a sword like that exist, its still interesting I must say.
