Frank "Frankenstein" the Tank is a street samurai specialized in heavy weapons and getting hit without wincing. A lover of poetry and a cunning linguist, he is nevertheless best known for being singlehandedly responsible for more deaths with his Ares-Stoner M202 Medium Machine Gun than most gangs, and really, *really* hating Evo. He also has a very mean, cybernetically enhanced right hook, and he's been taking martial arts classes.

Get back at Evo Biomedical for what they did to him and his family, and maybe get them off his trail permanently.

Frank (not real name) was a two-bit ganger from Manhattan. He had it pretty good. A small but efficient crew he was one of the top dogs in out of virtue of his superior brawn, a girl he was pretty sweet on, and a steady enough influx of Nuyen to provide for his small but demanding (as is usually the case with trolls) family.

His problems began when he was "acquired" by an Evo Biomedical extraction crew after his sister, having gone to a legal SIN, was found to some sort of rare gene they'd been interested in, something about lack of genetic distortion from repeated insertion and extraction of bio and cyberware. He'd been hanging out with the rest of the gang when the extraction team came in guns blazing and took out everyone who resisted. It was a very efficient massacre, just brutal enough to make sure no one would really try to fight back. Frank's girlfriend tried anyway, and was shot down on the spot. Frank himself got hit by some sort of tranq shot, and everything went black.

What followed was hell as he and his family, also "acquired", were put through arduous testing and experimentation routines. Every day they would stick them with new invasive implants, and every day they would take them out again, leaving them as maimed stumps overnight. His little brother died in front of his eyes when the next bleeding edge cosmetic genemod turned his face into a mess of tumorous growths. His mother had a heart failure after over half her body had been turned into a mess of chrome. Only Frank, testing ground for a "modular soldier project" survived. They loaded him up with ware, then took it away, then put it back in. Over and over.

Frank might not have lasted much longer, but a Shadowrunning team came through the lab he was being held in to retrieve the data from his experiments. When the security response got too hot, their decker released Frank to help them get the hell out in exchange for his freedom. Second chances like that don't come every day, and Frank put to use his ware loadout of the day as he picked up their dead sammy's gun and helped them tear a bloody hole to the way out.

Once he was out, he ran for the shadows and never looked back. Evo was on his tail, unwilling to let a good subject slip their grasp, and he couldn't go back to what remained of his gang, or to his sister, not abducted thanks to her UCAS SIN. He fled across the country, and eventually found Seattle. Being a fugitive was expensive, and tough living. Thinking of the people who'd gotten him out, he decided to stop just hiding in the Shadows, and start running them instead.

He likes to wear troll-sized leather gloves when the weather permits, and often rocks a large paris of shades. A lover of poetry and a cunning linguist, he is nevertheless best known for being singlehandedly responsible for more deaths with his Ares-Stoner M202 Medium Machine Gun than most gangs, and really, *really* hating Evo. He also has a very mean, cybernetically enhanced right hook, and he's been taking martial arts classes.

Get back at Evo Biomedical for what they did to him and his family, and maybe get them off his trail permanently.

Frank (not real name) was a two-bit ganger from Manhattan. He had it pretty good. A small but efficient crew he was one of the top dogs in out of virtue of his superior brawn, a girl he was pretty sweet on, and a steady enough influx of Nuyen to provide for his small but demanding (as is usually the case with trolls) family.

His problems began when he was "acquired" by an Evo Biomedical extraction crew after his sister, having gone to a legal SIN, was found to some sort of rare gene they'd been interested in, something about lack of genetic distortion from repeated insertion and extraction of bio and cyberware. He'd been hanging out with the rest of the gang when the extraction team came in guns blazing and took out everyone who resisted. It was a very efficient massacre, just brutal enough to make sure no one would really try to fight back. Frank's girlfriend tried anyway, and was shot down on the spot. Frank himself got hit by some sort of tranq shot, and everything went black.

What followed was hell as he and his family, also "acquired", were put through arduous testing and experimentation routines. Every day they would stick them with new invasive implants, and every day they would take them out again, leaving them as maimed stumps overnight. His little brother died in front of his eyes when the next bleeding edge cosmetic genemod turned his face into a mess of tumorous growths. His mother had a heart failure after over half her body had been turned into a mess of chrome. Only Frank, testing ground for a "modular soldier project" survived. They loaded him up with ware, then took it away, then put it back in. Over and over.

Frank might not have lasted much longer, but a Shadowrunning team came through the lab he was being held in to retrieve the data from his experiments. When the security response got too hot, their decker released Frank to help them get the hell out in exchange for his freedom. Second chances like that don't come every day, and Frank put to use his ware loadout of the day as he picked up their dead sammy's gun and helped them tear a bloody hole to the way out.

Once he was out, he ran for the shadows and never looked back. Evo was on his tail, unwilling to let a good subject slip their grasp, and he couldn't go back to what remained of his gang, or to his sister, not abducted thanks to her UCAS SIN. He fled across the country, and eventually found Seattle. Being a fugitive was expensive, and tough living. Thinking of the people who'd gotten him out, he decided to stop just hiding in the Shadows, and start running them instead.
