Born in the heart of Seattle, Jesper had an unlucky start to life. He was born to a human mother and a giant troll father. His family was got SIN's by virtue of his father becoming a corporate wageslave, gaining a Limited Corporate SIN after Jesper was born, his mother soon got a National one afterwards through a small government position she got at a post office. He spent most of his days in the house playing with the family dog while waiting for mommy and daddy to come home from work.

Jesper got tired of waiting at home. He would wait until both had left for work and then go walk the dog, after that he'd head to the ork underground to be with 'his people' as they convinced them they were. Jesper fell in with a gang of orks and trolls who called themselves the Belly Bristles, they all had lots of stomach and chest hair using product to make it stiff and bristly. They taught him how to scrap, fists, small weapons, and after one smash and grab they did without him, they got access to swords to spar with. Jesper thought he was where he belong, with the crowd who believed he was cool and encouraged him to do more and more bold and stupid acts in the name of Bristle Pride and fighting back against the human system.

The last straw was broken with Jesper that evening. It was his fifteenth birthday and the Bristle Bellies wanted to do something special with him, specifically their leader Jason. He took him to a Street Doc he knew, 'Doc' Mortimer, and got him installed with a smartlink that Jesper picked out himself. Then gave him the crews gift, a Ultimax Rain Forest Carbine, and news that he'd finally be going with them on a mission. They loaded up in Jason's car and hit the streets. It was supposed to be simple, hit some human family coming out of a trideo-theater and leave, that was it. He was gonna be the muscle this time, his shoulders got real wide compared to the trolls in the group already and he was burlier than them as well. Things went wrong. Things went very very wrong. A richer man and his security exited as the robbery was in process, the guards started putting rounds down Jesper's way. Jason used the wife as a meat shield, which worked until they'd gotten back to the car. A .45 ripping through her stomach and Jason's forehead. One of the other bristle bellies pushed them both out of the driver's side and shakily drove everyone back to the underground.

After the events that had happened Jesper cut contact with the Bristle Bellies. He wasn't about that life anymore, he started doing private security for clients who wanted someone big and scary. Eventually he made friend's with a troll fixer in the area who liked being called Auntie. He enjoyed the familial relationship she liked to keep and they hit it off. Eventually she started putting him on 'different' kinds of jobs to his usual work, he became a distraction, a negotiator at times, and most usually a big guy with a scary face. She got him used to the idea of Shadowrunning before getting him to talk with the runners, dipping his toes in so he wouldn't know when the water was to hot. He took a new name he felt was more personal than most people use Run the Steel, Earn the Brass. A personal statement to himself and others, he'd run with the steel already and now he was looking to earn the brass. Although most people just call him "Steel".

He got a little more cyber to get better at shooting, becoming a regular with 'Doc' Mortimer for repairs and maintenance. He got briefly acquainted with another street samurai who gave him a crash course on heavy weapons and kept tutoring him on Assault Cannon specialization. He never loaned him any weapons off the range but the training has lasted, leaving "Steel" with a longing to buy his own when he got the chance.

"Steel" moved out of his parents place, using some of the cash he earned to get his own apartment and start his new life. He's living an almost rock star life right now, partying where he can at clubs when he can afford it, keeping himself in shape, most importantly taking jobs that let him keep his up close skills in tact. The range is easy to get access to, willing knife and fist fight participants less so. At the moment "Steel" is just trying to become the best runner he can be, and find his path to the Brass.

==Summary==
A new gang called The Sorrows has been attacking [[Solace]] over this past month. Mr. E asks the runners for help persuading them to stop attacking, though the runners do not find out why [[Solace]] was being attacked.

==Background==

==The Meet==
Mr. E meets the runners in a basement at [[Solace]]. There, he discovers that [[Reaper]] needs a place to live and a fake SIN, and offers both, on the condition that she not attack any more priests. He tells the runners of the problem and asks them to persuade the gang to stop, nonviolently if possible, offering 8k nuyen for a solution. The runners agree.

==The Plan==
[[Ember]] and [[Tanuki]] scout out the locations of one of the safehouses of The Sorrows given to them by Mr. E. [[Ember]] has shapeshifted into a dog and is soon attacked after being assensed by the ganger's mage. The bullets explode on contact with the pavement. [[Tanuki]] uses a flyspy, but some nearby crows start attacking it very quickly. The team decides direct, brute force is most appropriate.

==The Run==
The team rolls up, though their sneaking is for naught as their mage has a Detect Enemies spell up. During the opening of the battle, one of the crows casts a Force 10 Napalm spell on the party, which destroys [[Tanuki]]'s drone. The team realizes the mage is one of the crows, and focus fire on the group of crows over the building. During the fight, the team gets word from [[Solace]] that they are under attack! The team disengages and heads back to defend the religious organization.

At [[Solace]], the two gangers here and the two mages repeatedly try to take out [[Tanuki]]'s vehicle, though with some expert driving they fail. [[Reaper]], [[Ember]], and [[Run the Steel Earn the Brass "Steel"]] manage to defeat the gangers, convincing the last one to surrender.

==Aftermath==
The Sorrows disband over their humiliating defeat, though the runners do not discover why [[Solace]] was being attacked. [[Reaper]] lives at [[Solace]] now.

[[Ember]] Always think how people have this faith idea, really don't see the point, but overall they normally pay well and I taken a few hits during this...but why were gangers using bullets, that is not easy for them to get their hands on?

[[Reaper]] Not sure what that was all about, but we got it handled. Solace seems like a nice org, though they oughta get some security around here, if ganger attacks are a thing that keeps happening. Maybe something I can do in my off time, I'll have to ask them.

==Summary==

Runners were called at inopportune moments whether while eating ice cream, fight ghosts on rooftops, or while dealing with their sons rebellious nature. They all met up sooner or later, Bannerette with a helpful cat and Vikar with an unhelpful snake, at a Japanese Stake house to talk to their Mr. Johnson Mr. Tanaka. The gig was to capture an Irish Mobster by the name of Radar O'riley. The group did some searching and the Matrix Nerd Energizer found the bars he frequented by looking him up on the net. Afterwards the cat leaked our DNI chat in the bar and we had to leave. Vikar got shocked by his car's safety system due to snake interference, then we fought Irish mobsters out in the streets. Some I am the firewall bull shit happened and the crew vaporized the grunts and took off with an unconscious Radar to deliver for their 8k nuyen reward.

==Background==

Banarrette got a call from their fixer while pulling naval mine shrapnel out of themselves. Run the Steel was called after fist fighting a ghost on his usual free-running course. Vikar was called while getting mad-lip from his son who was playing some Trog Rock at full blast. And Energizer got a call while day sleeping with a bucket of melted warm ice cream.

==The Meet==

A japanese steakhouse where everyone arrived before Energizer. We sat in awkward silence while waiting for them to arrive and speak japanese at Mr. Tanaka and get the job details. Some Faux Pas were made, but thankfully Vikar covered up for us and saved the missions ass before it could be fucked by rudeness, the cat, and the snake.

==The Plan==

There was no plan. Just try and find the guy, beat him up, and run off with his unconscious body.

==The Run==

We wound up at the right bar by complete chance and Run the Steel being really good at finding Irish bars. The cat leaked our DNI conversation by accident to everyone in the bar, which was owned by the same Irish mob that Radar O'riley was apart of and we had to leave. Vikar got shocked by his car's anti-theft system twice due to the snake pulling shenanigans. Run the Steel and Bannerette detected some mobsters in an alleyway by a Taco Temple trying to whack the party in secret and combat broke out. No time for drugs as everyone began firing and Run the Steel moved in to punch a man unconscious with his massive meaty trog giant hands. The combat was short and sweet minimal bluefor damages, the Irish mobsters were vaporized by a Ball Lightning from Vikar and with Run the Steel's help Bannerette knocked O'riley out cold. The crew took off to get their money.

O'riley was delivered to Mr. Tanaka at the arranged warehouse and the crew was paied.

This was a nice easy job, mostly. My dress got soiled when that S%$#head Radar O'Reiley unloaded his shotgun at me, but I paid him back for it in the end (like always). Though it sucks, I'm still sore from the last major injury. Also, for some reason, $500 worth of cat food got charged to my account and that weird decker used cat themed warnings in our AR feed; Maybe they were making fun of me for taking care of [[Sunglasses|Sunglasses's]] cat, but I was just paying back a favor I owed a friend from back when I needed a truck to steal an ice sculpture of a dragon for a different gangster. I don't understand why they couldn't just do it normally. In any case, I should probably take my dress to get repaired... or maybe replaced, since it's all covered in blood. White probably wasn't a good choice in hindsight.

Maybe the city ain't so bad. Well except for the spirit problems we got in Auburn but that's another story. Auntie scored me good and simple job with a rocky start, no one spoke japanese so it was all down to our pixie wizard to smooth things over and keep the guy from just ditching us. Couple people showed up with animals, thought it was weird but it only gets weirder with them, then an *actual* animal showed up some bunny person who could speak the language. We got the details, find some Irish mobster bring him alive to a warehouse. Here comes the matrix shit again, I hate how often this comes up. Our decker or whatever the hell they were found out that our guy frequents Irish bars. As luck would have it I take us to the one he was sitting in. Unfortunately the cat leaked our DNI and all the mobster inside knew we were after their guy. So we had to leave pretty quick, the snake turned the pixie's car defenses against him, and thankfully me and Bannerette got good eyes and ears. Spotted our target and his goon squad trying to whack us. I grabbed the guy, the pixie vaporized them with ball lightning, and we bailed. Course that's leaving out the fucken I Am The Firewall bs that the cat was pulling for us and the snake was pulling for them. God I need a drink.....

==Summary==
The runners were tasked with recovering a musical idol who happens to be a shapeshifter who was kidnapped during her last concert and of course due to her being a shifter and among other information, the media did not care about but the company she was tide towards where they wanted to recover their important asset.

==Background==
It was a kidnapping hosted by the company but those who grab the idol, were going to backpack the corp and try to sell the shapeshifter off to horizon for more money.

==The Meet==
the team would have to head to a AAA zone and arrive at a place that was the happy Paw’s Medical Center which is being converted into the first branch of Pawwagon which is an institute devoted towards animals, very similar to their parent company doc wagon. Of course, being such a highly restricted area some of the runners stood out due to their weapons and had to quickly get escorted inside to prevent the information or people being alarmed due to armed criminals on the street, they would agree to the money which is 12,000 and 16,000 upon asset recovery unharmed along with one of the suspects who were part of the kidnapping to interrogate them For more information.

==The Plan==
After being dropped off by Vitol in Georgia the runners would need to somehow acquire information and identify who are the kidnappers in a massive city and have very little information to go off with sides very blurry and foggy camera footage from the incident. they would go around finding out they would there are two syndicates that deal with magical creatures one is a type of mega black market and the other is a syndicate devoted towards a unique hunting practice of throwing dangerous animals and criminals into a massive arena and having hunters hunt them down. the runners would find out one of the participants in the arena hunt was killed so they would have to track down their body and found their magical ticket to allow them into the arena, afterward they unexpectedly found their rescue target at the side of the black market end to where they use the ticket to buy their rescue target and to set up like ambush against the opposite runner team who were the kidnappers

==The Run==
They would set up their ambush waiting for the opposition to show up for some important deal that would stage they would engage them with the sound of a sniper going off in the distance, a heavy gunner, and a heavily modified troll beginning to the onslaught with a few lesser goons who would eventually die due to their rigger firing a grenade launcher and misfiring it flying directly towards the grunts killing them all instantly. the sniper would accidentally dome his heavy gunner friend leaving a few of the team in a desperate situation most of them begin to fall back while the runner team would focus fire on that troll bringing them down and towards the extraction vehicle. with the singer collected and one of the suspects apprehended they would leave heading back to Seattle being paid and all then fortunate news.

==Aftermath==
The Singer seems to be not affected by being kidnapping and life goes about their day, with Pawwagon using this to help learn how to protect their VIP better.

Well, that was interesting. First, one of Mr. J's shifter bodyguards wanted to eat me - not that I blame them, I'd get a similar way with someone who caused me pain by being close enough. Then we headed off across the continent to Atlanta, and found a big 'special' hunt going on. Some idiot runner had got his hands on a ticket and then got himself eaten by ghouls, we raided his hideout - I disarmed the grenade tripwire and then Steel kicked the door down but got a shotgun blast to the chest - and found his body. We managed to trade his ticket for the shifter and then ambush the runners who kidnapped her - said runners mostly succeeded in killing each other, we got a captive, and then we headed back on a sweet VTOL. And got paid in 'ware, nice.

What the hell have I gotten myself into? When I was called I thought it'd just be a simple gig, save some shifter from some local goon squad who kidnapped them. Nope! Surprise flight to Georgia and I spend most of the gig twiddling my thumbs because it's all matrix work out here. Finding local criminals and black-markets where our shifter target could have been put. Got to do something when I kicked down a door and took buckshot to the chest. Turns out that was a false lead though as we soon found our target under some illusion to look like a normal puma or was it a panther? I got no idea. Best bit was surprising the people who brought her here after securing a deal with the black-market boss to take our target home. I drugged up and slugged up with the enemy troll and the combat went by real fast. One died, another couple ran I think. Then we bonked the other troll unconscious and dragged him back for extra pay in the VTOL. I need to get more connection skills man....

After the events that had happened Jesper cut contact with the Bristle Bellies. He wasn't about that life anymore, he started doing private security for clients who wanted someone big and scary. Eventually he made friend's with a troll fixer in the area who liked being called Auntie. He enjoyed the familial relationship she liked to keep and they hit it off. Eventually she started putting him on 'different' kinds of jobs to his usual work, he became a distraction, a negotiator at times, and most usually a big guy with a scary face. She got him used to the idea of Shadowrunning before getting him to talk with the runners, dipping his toes in so he wouldn't know when the water was to hot. He took a new name he felt was more personal than most people use Run the Steel, Earn the Brass. A personal statement to himself and others, he'd run with the steel already and now he was looking to earn the brass. Although most people just call him "Steel".

He got a little more cyber to get better at shooting, becoming a regular with 'Doc' Mortimer for repairs and maintenance. He got briefly acquainted with another street samurai who gave him a crash course on heavy weapons and kept tutoring him on Assault Cannon specialization. He never loaned him any weapons off the range but the training has lasted, leaving "Steel" with a longing to buy his own when he got the chance.

"Steel" moved out of his parents place, using some of the cash he earned to get his own apartment and start his new life. He's living an almost rock star life right now, partying where he can at clubs when he can afford it, keeping himself in shape, most importantly taking jobs that let him keep his up close skills in tact. The range is easy to get access to, willing knife and fist fight participants less so. At the moment "Steel" is just trying to become the best runner he can be, and find his path to the Brass.

They all met up sooner or later, Bannerette with a helpful cat and Vikar with an unhelpful snake, at a Japanese Stake house to talk to their Mr. Johnson Mr. Tanaka. The gig was to capture an Irish Mobster by the name of Radar O'riley. The group did some searching and the Matrix Nerd Energizer found the bars he frequented by looking him up on the net. Afterwards the cat leaked our DNI chat in the bar and we had to leave. Vikar got shocked by his car's safety system due to snake interference, then we fought Irish mobsters out in the streets. Some I am the firewall bull shit happened and the crew vaporized the grunts and took off with an unconscious Radar to deliver for their 8k nuyen reward.

We wound up at the right bar by complete chance and Run the Steel being really good at finding Irish bars. The cat leaked our DNI conversation by accident to everyone in the bar, which was owned by the same Irish mob that Radar O'riley was apart of and we had to leave. Vikar got shocked by his car's anti-theft system twice due to the snake pulling shenanigans. Run the Steel and Bannerette detected some mobsters in an alleyway by a Taco Temple trying to whack the party in secret and combat broke out. No time for drugs as everyone began firing and Run the Steel moved in to punch a man unconscious with his massive meaty trog giant hands. The combat was short and sweet minimal bluefor damages, the Irish mobsters were vaporized by a Ball Lightning from Vikar and with Run the Steel's help Bannerette knocked O'riley out cold. The crew took off to get their money.

His family was got SIN's by virtue of his father becoming a corporate wageslave, gaining a Limited Corporate SIN after Jesper was born, his mother soon got a National one afterwards through a small government position she got at a post office. He spent most of his days in the house playing with the family dog while waiting for mommy and daddy to come home from work.

He would wait until both had left for work and then go walk the dog, after that he'd head to the ork underground to be with 'his people' as they convinced them they were. Jesper fell in with a gang of orks and trolls who called themselves the Belly Bristles, they all had lots of stomach and chest hair using product to make it stiff and bristly. They taught him how to scrap, fists, small weapons, and after one smash and grab they did without him, they got access to swords to spar with. Jesper thought he was where he belong, with the crowd who believed he was cool and encouraged him to do more and more bold and stupid acts in the name of Bristle Pride and fighting back against the human system.

The last straw was broken with Jesper that evening. It was his fifteenth birthday and the Bristle Bellies wanted to do something special with him, specifically their leader Jason. He took him to a Street Doc he knew, 'Doc' Mortimer, and got him installed with a smartlink that Jesper picked out himself. Then gave him the crews gift, a Ultimax Rain Forest Carbine, and news that he'd finally be going with them on a mission. They loaded up in Jason's car and hit the streets. It was supposed to be simple, hit some human family coming out of a trideo-theater and leave, that was it. After the events that had happened Jesper cut contact with the Bristle Bellies. He wasn't about that life anymore, he started doing private security for clients who wanted someone big and scary. Eventually he made friend's with a troll fixer in the area who liked being called Auntie. He enjoyed the familial relationship she liked to keep and they hit it off. Eventually she started putting him on 'different' kinds of jobs to his usual work, he became a distraction, a negotiator at times, and most usually a big guy with a scary face. She got him used to the idea of Shadowrunning before getting him to talk with the runners, dipping his toes in so he wouldn't know when the water was to hot. He took a new name he felt was more personal than most people use Run the Steel, Earn the Brass. A personal statement to himself and others, he'd run with the steel already and now he was looking to earn the brass. Although most people just call him "Steel".

He got a little more cyber to get better at shooting, becoming a regular with 'Doc' Mortimer for repairs and maintenance. He got briefly acquainted with another street samurai who gave him a crash course on heavy weapons and kept tutoring him on Assault Cannon specialization. He never loaned him any weapons off the range but the training has lasted, leaving "Steel" with a longing to buy his own when he got the chance.

"Steel" moved out of his parents place, using some of the cash he earned to get his own apartment and start his new life. He's living an almost rock star life right now, partying where he can at clubs when he can afford it, keeping himself in shape, most importantly taking jobs that let him keep his up close skills in tact. The range is easy to get access to, willing knife and fist fight participants less so. At the moment "Steel" is just trying to become the best runner he can be, and find his path to the Brass.
