Ex-UCAS Helicopter pilot shot down outside ARES turf because her flight plan coincided with a "secret" project, Valkyrie was shot down and joined the shadows at Lt. Commander Kerrigans prompting in exchange for freedom, forbidden tech, and finding out wtf happened.

==Background==

Valerie had a fairly normal life - raised in a decent New England "suburb". She decided to join the UCAS Army and fly helicopters. She was always fairly frail, but her intellect and quick reactions made up for it during training, allowing her to be one of the best pilots of her class. How she got this intellect was being a young girl riding horses with her family...and subsequently being kicked in the head by one of said horses. The resulting trauma left her bedridden for a few years, but also jump started some rapid brain development.

After graduating from pilot school, Valerie went a step further, requesting that she be integrated with rigger materials in order to better perform her duties. Of course the military accepted, and Valerie only got better, now pulling off insane maneuvers - maneuvers that also got reprimands from superiors and passengers alike. Of course her helicopter was shot down over an ARES location, prompting her to be grounded...but also approached by Lt Commander Kerrigan while in Infirmary, offering her an opportunity for revenge...and some freedom not found in the military, but filled with more excitement.

Eva adores trid shows, they were her main escape from the terrible barrens life growing up, and she just can't get enough of them. This one was created by the same friend at no request in order to ensure Trash Panda had something less childish to fall back to. It appears as a typical club girl version of Trash Panda.

Deimos and Trash panda set out to rescue Kani off an Ares testing facility off the coast of Victoria, Canada. Meanwhile Kani pokes her head - and gun - in places it should probably not be.

Kani decided to take a ride on a VSTOL aircraft into the sound. Riot then sends her ally spirit Hotaru out to retrieve Kani, however the spirit decides to put her on the island with a shell.

Trash Panda and Deimos go to the island, grab Kani, get out.
==The Run==

The run would have been simple...had Kani decided to stay on her shoreside cave. Instead Kani decides to explore the compound that Ares have set up, sneaking up to the catwalk level and observing a cold storage warehouse. This is after observing massive paracritters who are normally at resting temperature of -5C patrolling the perimeter. In the warehouse, kani uses her sniper and grenade launcher to place a Neurostun 8 grenade into the central room, sadly the startling action caused the anesthesia controllers to stop the process, waking up the "Sire". The gas also killed one of the employees. Upon reaching the room, Kani looks down to view the "Sire" who is dual natured and observing Kani, moving to attempt to eat her.

Kani fled the scene, egged on by the Sire's fear roar, and a parting blast of sub zero clod breath attack. Kani then tried to steal an experimental fighter jet - that was unfinished - and then tried to steal a drone VTOL airframe. Failing this, she ran to the beach, where Kani and Dei were waiting. Everyone was about to flee when Dei, not being stealthy, was caught in the headlights of one of the drones. Due to a gravity well spell, the drone was brought to the ground, but did not die from the crash or from Kani's sniper, and almost shot Dei. Trash Panda called out to make sure Dei was not touched by the ripping of cannon fire. Once the drone was disabled, the team made their exfil.
==Aftermath==

The team caused quite a stir on the island, so security for "Operation Icehouse" will be incredibly more stringent and the possibility of a lockdown is also there, considering "Sire" caused structural damage all over the base.

James grew up practically worshipping the military, and when given the chance to sign up, he took it. That said, he also made sure to find a job that required grace as much as cool guns. Thus he entered into the Marines EOD, fighting alongside his battle buds while also keeping them safe. This led to him sometimes being "shanghied" by the FBI to defuse any bombs planted by terrorists, which in turn garnered the attention of Tier 1 elements. Sadly before he could be picked up, his last mission went completely off the rails, and he woke from a coma in Everett, with a Lt. Commander watching over his repaired body - giving him his new assignment for the shadows.

Fancy Muscle who spent a few years as a UCAS Marine, then as a Butler/Bodyguard for ARES, and how a caretaker for her ill-fated charges' daughter - Angela Sofano.

==Background==
Evalynn's life began when she signed up with the UCAS Marines to be a pilot (Warrant Officer). Powering her way through the colleges and necessary schooling. Finally, flight school came along and with it her shot at proving just how good she could be. Unfortunately, no matter what her grades in the class were, nothing could save someone from a storm causing a crash in the ocean...nor could they prepare anyone for a feeding frenzy of sharks not even half a mile away.

Following the accident was employment as a flight instructor, numerous visits to psychologists to slowly diminish the fear of the ocean - and everything in it - and then numerous pushes to take up a desk job. Sure, great pay, not zero excitement, so when Ares advertised a position, looking for disciplined ex-military individuals, Evalynn did not hesitate to volunteer. The job, however, was to serve as a bodyguard and valet for an Ares employee, specifically the daughter of one of the designer of the firearms. This would have been fine, unfortunately Evalynn heard rumors of bug spirits within the corporation, Evalynn decided it was time to leave - well she would have, had a representative not come and said a "More qualified individual" appeared for her position, and she would have been transferred. She made the transfer into a retirement.

On her way out of the corporation, making her way to some place to start again, she saw Angela, sitting in a park, alone. As far as the girl knew, her parents disappeared for some company function, and then she was sent on her way. This was outrageous, how they could simply throw aside people as if they were spent magazines. Ares tried to make a good corp citizen with Evalynn, but even they cannot overwrite a Marine "Leave no man behind". The Marine won out, I took Angela with me to Seattle, and if the corporation who promised security and gave despair won't raise her, I will dammit. I just hope I have enough friends to help me pay for her high school and upcoming college...who knew teens could eat so much...

==Summary==

Amelie is advancing her agenda regarding Barytech and their past treatment. Since the last Barytech head in Seattle perished, a new one was assigned right in time to helm a new R&D Symposium. Team is hired to make sure one particular individual succeeds - a Graduate student with a heart of gold that Amelie is interested in - while simultaneously embarrassing the other attendees of the symposium.
==Background==

Amelie has never thrown away all of her history and often looks into Barytech and Saeder Krupp research to see either what could be destroyed to cause the most damage - or taken to provide a better quality of life for her "kingdom".
==The Meet==

Amelie discusses her desire for Barytech to suffer, and how she wants the researchers at the event to suffer. She cannot provide much detail about what the Symposium entails, but hands them a basic brochure stating time and location of the symposium.
==The Plan==

The team begins doing research, where Nightclaws tackles the Barytech server ...and the dreaded SK Patrol Geckos. Nightclaws begins by analyzing the guest list for the event, finding both Lydia Flurette, Amelies Mother, as well as two prominent SK military/security officers. Nightclaws also finds that an individual close to Lofwyr - Karoline Langshutze - will be attending the symposium. Meanwhile Trash Panda snuck into the actual mansion where the event was being held, and assessed The Lady Flurette, Amelies mother, as well as Karoline - who is revealed to be a Drake. The team decides to proceed further with the plan, infiltrating the party via sneaking in through a window, as a plus one, and as assistants to those presenting.
==The Run==

Upon sneaking into the party, the team splits up to do it's various activities. For the various Presenters:

* Wilhelm Walter Kreutz: Nightclaws deactivates the chemical harness for the hellhounds while Trash Panda excites the beasts, causing them to maul and kill the individual.
* Laurenz Buller: Trash Panda kills off the pre bound mage to humiliate the doctor in front of everyone.
* Serena Latticia & Klaus Gruber: Team exposes Gruber's unfaithfulness to Latticia, wherein she deactivates the safety system they had put in place for guns, resulting in a castrated Gruber.
* Mark jacobson: Nightclaws finds that Mark has been participating in illegal activities using his data interception and recording software, Nightclaws sends this information to KE discreetly, who then hauls off the doctor in question
* Johan von Kriegston: Was trying to develop a super soldier serum, but always failed. gave it to Kitsune as a demostration - and the project failed on its own, however Kitsune made it appear even worse than it was.
* Carrie Miller: Was the only one who was not messed with. She presented her material and - while not as useful as the others - was the only program to not fail spectacularly.

Moved to Seattle to pursue some individuals, and now lives with a roommate in Touristville (Redmond Proper) - Sasha - who is a nurse that usually works evenings. Sasha doesn't know Rose is a Vampire, and Rose aims to keep it that way.

Veronica (her true name) was born in the Midlands north of London to a nice middle class family. Well, middle class mother, father was unknown to Veronica. Her mother worked as an assistant to some CEO of a subsidiary company, not quite high enough in the chain to truly matter at the time, but young enough to be arrogant about his position and have ambition. Veronica - henceforth "Rose" - was a good girl, even managing to grab a secretarial position like her mother right out of secondary school. However Things turned for the worst on her 20th birthday, when her Mother came home after a "business trip" with her boss and friends. Something happened to her, something that broke her - turned her into something not human that lashed out and tried to kill Rose. It was only by pure luck that Rose lived, running into the family garden where the wood from bushes brought down her mother...but it was too late, Rose was infected.

Rose left the house, running away, trying to escape her problems when she collapsed in the London subway, succumbing to the disease changing her body. Thankfully, a Nosferatu who lived in the subway, and had domain over most infected, took her in before she was torn apart by ghouls. As ugly as he was, he was kind to Rose, and taught her all about what she was and how to deal with it. The hard part was convincing her she was a Vampire. Once that knowledge was fully realized, the depression came in - bouts of starving, feeling the essence drain from her body and then nights of binging on hapless people to refill the essence and gorging herself on blood. This continued for - well years. Eventually her Nosferatu teacher pulled her out of her slump to get her to see life as a Vampire...true life, with all the powers therein...and thus began the time of the "Rose Killer" in london, corpses drained of essence entirely, left with only rose petals adorning their body as a sign of their killer.

Here, the Nosferatu had even more trouble pulling Rose from the lifestyle of decadence and pleasure from being overly filled with essence...at least it was hard until the same people that ruined her mother also ruined one of her best friends - found tossed into the Thames. In one night, Rose went from a regular Hedonist and Serial Killer, into someone on a mission - and a somewhat respectable contractor...albeit with some anger and impulse management issues.

Team is to investigate the disappearance of an Ares executive who was searching for a magical artifact. Team finds said artifact and the Ares exec, convinces the resident free spirit protecting the artifact that the captured exec's captors are here to steal the artifact...the captors are summarily murdered.

Free spirit of Aristodemus aims to regain and surpass the honor he lost at Thermopolyae. He intends to do this by uplifting an ARES exec down on his luck....and then possessing him.
==The Meet==

Team meets the J's contact at the Seattle Museum, and the J specifies that the team is to go to Greece to rescue said executive, who is searching for Olympian artefacts.
==The Plan==

Team plans to go to Greece and search where the executive went missing, being within the location of ancient sparta. The team plans to retrace the Exec's steps in order to find where he likely is.
==The Run==

The team makes it to Sparta and begins searching the ruins. they find the Executives map of the region, as well as circles for the locations in which he was looking for the artifacts. The team crates a triangle of the points and chooses the center of the three points (making sure to evade Leonidas' tomb, where armed men are. Upon entering the center - where the info center is - Stygian goes downstairs to confront a large free spirit. He tells the spirit of their purpose and then mentions the men defiling Leonidas' tomb, the spirit goes into a rage and proceeds to kill all the armed men, letting the team take the executive and quietly slip away.

Team easily rescues the executive, but leaves a bloody mess in their wake.

Team is hired to collect manufacturing equipment and precursors for drugs and pharmaceuticals. Team succeeds, and eliminates a convoy protecting the truck full of chemicals.
==Background==

Amelie has secured a foothold within Seattle, but now she must obtain some measure of income to keep her gains afloat. Through the recruitment of "Fred" the Wendigo, She is able to manufacture pharmaceuticals and drugs - both items used frequently in the Redmond barrens. She hires runners to obtain the chemicals - from Barytech, the company who made her a vampire - and also requests the murder of a Barytech Exec.
==The Meet==

Amelie shows off her grand new and impressive "Throne Room" - Some of the teem recognize her, others are introduced. They agree to the contract and proceed to leave the new throne room via a ladder - which has a Spider on it. Kani tries to shoot the spider, but shoots Nightclaws instead.
==The Plan==

Team established a plan to strip the data and production equipment from the headquarters and escape amidst the confusion as Kani executes a Barytech executive. Once completed, the plan was to ambush the convoy with the chemical precursor chemicals that "Fred" could use in the production of chemicals by Redmond citizen use.
==The Run==

The heist goes off smoothly thanks to Glamour's use of Incubus shroud and the disguising of the team to be the guard's replacements. Upon completion of the heist - which included torturing Nightclaws with more screaming geckos as he accessed the files - Kani spots the helicopter with the Executive approaching, and also sees that Amelie's mother is riding along. Kani executes the executive but does not get a bead on the mother. The team then ambushes the convoy, with Kani getting mowed down after halting the convoy with her sniper. She does not die and is eventually brought back via regeneration. Paladin snuck into the target vehicle and killed the drivers. Trash Panda killed spirits as well as a giant back up spirit in one hit...oh well.
==Aftermath==

An entire platoon of soldiers lie dead on the highway - outside of major go-gang territory with DU rounds in a corporate executive and APDS (Or DU, I forget) rounds through military armor vehicles. Barytech is going to be cracking down on security - especially in Redmond.

Team is recruited by a Sapient Bandit to prevent a corporation from continued illegal forestry in the tiger mountain state park. Team brutalizes and scares off the entire team...who are then eaten alive by the forest.

==Background==
Rocket Raccoon is a bandit who escaped from Proteus after numerous experiments designed to bring higher intelligence to less developed species. The end result was a success that resulted in Rocket Raccoon - who is now effectively tiger state mountain Lorax.

==The Meet==
Team meets up near welcome center for the forest, and sees Rocket texting them from a comlink.

==The Plan==
There was not much planning, as Wildman witnessed the guards of the illegal operation shooting a deer for fun. This resulted in the Bear adept charging.

==The Run==
Short and sweet, Wildman proceeds to maul one group of guards, Paladin proceeds to obliterate another group with quick strikes, Kera then proceeds to scare off the regular workers with illusions.

==Aftermath==
Workers run off into the forest or escape in vehicles. Most are eaten by the wilds, Rocket Raccoon now co-ops the buildings and equipment left behind for his growing den of Bandits and regular Raccoons.

Faux started out life as a simple UCAS kind living in Seattle, living in downtown and constantly seeing ARES propaganda. Needless to say, her turning to them was an eventuality. While her original hope was to join Firewatch, she was denied, however she was fit enough and possessed enough know how to do proper investigation work. ==Background==
Evalynn's life began when she signed up with the UCAS Marines to be a pilot (Warrant Officer). Powering her way through the colleges and necessary schooling. Finally, flight school came along and with it her shot at proving just how good she could be. Unfortunately, no matter what her grades in the class were, nothing could save someone from a storm causing a crash in the ocean...nor could they prepare anyone for a feeding frenzy of sharks not even half a mile away.

Following the accident was employment as a flight instructor, numerous visits to psychologists to slowly diminish the fear of the ocean - and everything in it - and then numerous pushes to take up a desk job. Sure, great pay, not zero excitement, so when Ares advertised a position, looking for disciplined ex-military individuals, Evalynn did not hesitate to volunteer. The job, however, was to serve as a bodyguard and valet for an Ares employee, specifically the daughter of one of the designer of the firearms. This would have been fine, unfortunately Evalynn heard rumors of bug spirits within the corporation, Evalynn decided it was time to leave - well she would have, had a representative not come and said a "More qualified individual" appeared for her position, and she would have been transferred. She made the transfer into a retirement.

On her way out of the corporation, making her way to some place to start again, she saw Angela, sitting in a park, alone. As far as the girl knew, her parents disappeared for some company function, and then she was sent on her way. This was outrageous, how they could simply throw aside people as if they were spent magazines. Ares tried to make a good corp citizen with Evalynn, but even they cannot overwrite a Marine "Leave no man behind". The Marine won out, I took Angela with me to Seattle, and if the corporation who promised security and gave despair won't raise her, I will dammit. I just hope I have enough friends to help me pay for her high school and upcoming college...who knew teens could eat so much...

==Summary==
Runners are hired to either eliminate or recruit various groups to the J's faction.

==Background==
[[Amelie and Jean-Baptiste]] have arrived in Seattle and have set out on an ambitious plan to secure territory for HMHVV infected. While they tout it as securing a safe Haven for those who still possess their minds, and are simply afflicted with disease - there is an ulterior motive. The twins wish to establish a power similar to most Syndicates and minor Corporations within Seattle. This will allow them to fufill their promise to their "constituents" while also developing a group of loyal followers and agents. To do this, however, they need to establish a solid base.

==The Meet==
The team meet Amelie within her new establishment "Underworld" - a nightclub within an abandoned car park, with the lowest basement level converted to be her throne room. Amelie tells the team about her dreams to unite the HMHVV of Redmond and beyond. Amelie offered the group 20,000 nuyen per runner for eliminating or recruiting 7 separate groups in Redmond. Glamour negotiates for a possible favor from the Johnson, as well as the ability to contact them in the future (essentially the ability to purchase the contact with a favor pre-loaded).

==The Plan==
The team recieves the location of various Gangs that Amelie wants dealt with, and the team checks in with some of their contacts to determine which group is which and what exactly they are. The targets are two gangs - The Valkyries and The Rippers, led by Kara and Jaxx respectively - then there is a sect of vampire wannabes and vampire worshipers.

==The Run==

The Team decides to split the group, with half going north to deal with Kara of the Valkyries and the Rippers, with the other half going off to deal with the Vampire wannabe group.Amusingly, the two groups were split perfectly male/female. Team blue (Esper, Glamour, Maek) head north and talk to Kara, discoveirng the gang is actually very charitable overall, and convince them that their goals align with Amelie's. They even sweeten the deal by agreeing to eliminate the Ripper gang - which is acomplished via a napalm spell and a lubricant grenade...needless to say all the Rippers burned to death...

Team Pink (Stygian, Cpt. Boomerang, Stormcrow) head to the suburbs to determine the viability of the cultists. They determine that the cult is being led by a sleazy lawyer (who was keeping Jaxx, leader of the rippers, form being prosecuted) and Stygian simply showed the cult leader the video of Amelie killing her own mother, and delivering an ultimatum of "Join or suffer the same fate". Both teams reunited in order to deal with the rest of the infected, Karl Mans and Graff proved to be dead ends, a Gnawer with connections to Tamanous and assistance with stealing bodies for the other group - and the latter being a goblin who abducts people to serve in his Deli. Needless to say both individuals were killed by the runners, however Stygian was scratched by a Ghoul in Graff's Deli - resulting in a prolonged hospital stay to fight off the infection.

When the runners came to Fred's home, they were met with a family unit of Banshee, Vampire, and Wendigo - all of which were happy enough to join Amelie, so long as employment was provided. The team could not formally recruit Kiera - who corrales Feral Ghouls in a bid to rehabilitate them - however the Team provided contact information for Amelie. The team decides to return to Amelie early, and the Vampire thanks them for their service.

==Aftermath==

Team returns to Amelie with their progress report, Some friendly assets were secured - some potentially more useful than others - and some decidedly troublesome factors eliminated. Elimination of Graff and Karl Mans eliminates competition, however doing so may alienate those who were aligned with them - as many sources of food for those infected are now gone.

Now that Amelie has secured her lands, she now needs to secure the safety and well being.

This metaplot deals with the emergence of two infected from Paris, who are settling in Seattle. However, they are not content to simply exist, instead they wish to build up something akin to a syndicate...but with a far more natural structure, due to their old French lineage. With Amelie now as Family Figurehead, Jean stepping down for his sister, Amelie now has designs of expanding her Kingdom not only across infected lands, but to also possibly compete with syndicates across Seattle.

====Underworld====
Underworld is a refurbished nightclub operating in Redmond, that is the result of an old basement bar being extended into an underground parking garage. While the origional bar still exists, it is now more so an entryway into the proper scene, where an open central courtyard descends down the levels with multiple drink, food, and party stations. The establishment is refurbished with..."Acquired" materials, however only the parking level connected to the bar - B3 - and the levels directly above and below are currently refurbished, but the plans to expand are there.

However, descending the levels brings you to the "clubs" true section, B13, where Amelie holds court over her subjects. Currently her subjects only include the Ghouls who resided within the parking garage before. They were quick to join once Amelie demonstrated her prowess.

The court is designed much after medieval Europe, with a red carpet leading to a raised dias, with a lounging couch, surrounded by a moat of "blood".
