==Background==
Born on August 25th of 2061, Shadow is quite an interesting situation considering his circumstances. His father, a man of Latin descent, and his mother, a woman of Indian descent, had been on vacation in India while she was about eight months pregnant. Near the end of their vacation, the SURGE responsible for creating the first Nartaki had occurred, a strange and wondrous event, which had ultimately not affected his parents. But two months later, after they had returned home to Bellevue and she was giving birth, they discovered that their unborn child had been changed. Shadow had been born a Nartaki, possessing four arms and a golden hue to his skin instead of the normal pink.

Many emotions ran through them both, but eventually they settled on love and acceptance for their special baby boy, his mother convinced that he had been chosen. For what, they had no clue, but something was intended for their son, something important and special, and they would help guide him the best that they could. On his 17th birthday, he had been invited to a party by some of his friends, where he got drunk for the first time and made the worst mistake. He got approached by a very attractive woman, who persuaded him to join her in a bedroom where they could be alone. With his mind clouded by the drinks, he easily agreed and followed her upstairs, not noticing the warning signs.

Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain on the right side of his neck as arms embraced him from behind, and he passed out soon after. When he awoke 23 hours later, he was in his bed at home, and he was terrified of what he discovered. His golden skin had become a deathly pale white, his black hair had become an almost sinister, much darker shade, and his azure blue eyes had become bloody, crimson red orbs. It didn't take long to figure out what had happened to him, and as time passed, he became more aware of what had changed with him not just physically, but mentally. His mannerisms, his personality, he had become more aggressive and rude with people, and he didn't have quite the same sense of empathy.

Within the following months, there were a few more things about him that had changed, one of which being the discovery that he had developed some strong magical powers after being bitten, which he had started to train with. The second one was that he began going out on runs for a variety of reasons, with the primary ones being the thrill, and for the source of food. People didn't tend to ask questions or care about what happened to the collateral in the runs, just that the job got finished. So if someone got in his way and they weren't important to the mission, he would take his fill of their blood and usually kill them. He has taken to using the alias Erebus when he's on a run, starting to consider himself as the future King of the Night.

Standing at a height of 5'9 and weighing 180lbs, Shadow is an albino white Nartaki with black hair that is darker than hair is normally capable of being, and blood red eyes. His form is slender and athletic, his features sharp and angular, and his aura is confident and dark. His clothing is dark and sleek, complimenting his beautiful appearance and reflecting his new, sinister nature.
