The runners were hired by EVO to capture the Drone Maker Mr. Nakamura from the Corporation of Wuxing.
==Background==

This is the second run of the metaplot "A New Job"
==The Meet==

The Runners met at a Bar near the Everett Airport, the Johnson, A thick heavy Russian with a EVO Hat was there waiting for the runners. The Johnson explained the he wants to percure a Drone Maker Named Toshi Nakamura in Alaska from Wuxing to which the reason of them being there is to test out a new drone, The runners accepted the amount the runners have given for the run of 20k each for the capture of the Drone maker along with free transpiration to Alaska. The runners made sure on buying there own winter clothing for the weather.
==The Plan==

When getting there, the runner planned out of taking Dr.Boo's Van up to the location to then ambushed the soldiers. while having howler and neko to snatched the Drone Maker, After Neko searching the Matrix, She found out that he is Otaku via Anime to then she came up with the decision of dressing up as his Wifu, The main female character from Neo-Evangalion.
==The Run==

As they come up there near the location test site. The runner Stormcrow flew near the location to then to scout out. To which he sees two VTOLs, 8 soldiers, a soldier officer, 4 unknown Chinese being tied up. Dr. Boo sneak up his drone but it end up being spotted by couple of the soldiers to then they fire at it, to then the officer forced the Dr to activate the drone to which end up being one of the VTOLs to then turns into a huge Bipedal Anthrodrone with the look of being similar to the Japanese anime Mechas. To then the Mecha goes over and kills two of the unknown Chinese that were tied up. To then Dr.Boo knocks out the Dr with Narco jet, to then the Drone did to what it previous orders of protecting the Dr. To then when the Officer was about to shoot the Dr. The Mecha protected him. Eventually during the fighting the Mecha then kills the officer and two other soldiers with the sword as the rest of the runners took out all the rest of the soldiers. To then Paladin did convince the Mecha to take the Doctor to safety still the Mecha follow whenever the Doctor went. The runners were conflicted on what to do with the Doctor and the Drone as they were considering to betray the Johnson but when the Doctor woke up just wanted to get back to Shiawase. But as a compromise they end up giving back the Doctor to EVO but allowed Doctor to send the drone away to get people to help him out.

They successfully took the Doctor to EVO and got 20k in return for payment.

To any runners origins, Chrome Panda was born from is a Vat 20 years ago. The runner was the star of a Shiawase childhood tv show in japan like blue clues and barney of a 4 ft cute robot like panda called "Tanoshī Panda" (Fun Panda) dancing around singing songs and giving moral lessons, but really from what happen to the boy who then became a runner, he was created for only that purpose of entertaining people, but the kid end up not conforming to his role to which then they force a personasoft of the character personality upon him for years to the point it blank slate the original personality. After a failed spin off show that didn't seem to get a second season due to low ratings, fun panda was sent to work in matrix security. One day a runner team came in to steal date on from Wuxing and one of the runners knocked out the cyborg panda. For some reason the runners wanted to take the cyborg back with them for more information what the person was but only to what they found is relevant is the person who is left is a blank slate with a personasoft program, still one of the runners who is Amur Manchurian had a soft heart and wanted to take the panda back to his place along with his caretaker Dr.Helmund Matsuda. Luckily the Doctor found a bomb in the head of the panda and removed it, funny enough it was a dud due to faulty wiring. Still the Doctor was able to give the gist to the Panda cyborg about what happen to him along with his situation as he knows has free will in the virtual sense. the doctor mentioned the only way he can be save and earn money is by shadowrunning to along with the explanation of what to trust and what not to trust and how to work with runners ect... a nickname was suggested by Amur of Chrome Panda. Along for help the doctor got him a connection to a fixer of a Italian mafia boss. Along with a fake ID, Chrome Panda is ready to go out and make some money so he can live on his own and find some answers about where it came from.

Each unit (person) never had the change to develop their own personalities due to an installed especially made personasoft to bring utmost loyalty to Shiawase Co along with no room to deviate their own meta-humanity to make hard decisions. As a precaution measure any unit that was killed, captured, and even more rarely of there personasoft stops working when each unit is online, a bomb in their head will explode. Along with each unit in their creation are then put in a surgery of adding cybernetics on the whole body looking like a mascot of their current role, He became a versatile decker and above average solder. The panda unit was made to protect the high threat assets matrix wise and attack/disrupt hostiles that were part of their directive orders. Other types of units were made for other uses like guarding to retaliation types against runners that took a job against the company. Luckily the Doctor found a bomb in the head of the panda and removed it, funny enough it was a dud due to faulty wiring. Still the Doctor was able to give the gist to the Panda cyborg about what happen to him along with his situation as he knows has free will in the virtual sense. the doctor mentioned the only way he can be save and earn money is by shadowrunning to along with the explanation of what to trust and what not to trust and how to work with runners ect... a nickname was suggested by Amur of Chrome Panda. Along for help the doctor got him a connection to a fixer of a Italian mafia boss. Along with a fake ID, Chrome Panda is ready to go out and make some money so he can live on his own and find some answers about where it came from.

Due to popular interest, I am proud to announce the first Shadow Haven Combat Tournament. [[Solace]] is generously offering us use of their basement for the event, and to show our appreciation, proceeds from ticket sales and entry fees will be donated to their lovely organization. This whole mess started over [[Riot]] and [[Doctor Anubis]] wanting to spar and it kinda exploded out of control from that until suddenly we had interest in a big fight. What can ya do?

Tickets are gonna be ¥20 a pop, first come first seated because I can not be arsed to make a fragging seating chart. Work it out yourselves and if you can't settle things, make that ¥200 and you can join the tournament and duke it out with whatever fragger stole that seat you wanted. The winners will get a percentage of the collected cash shoved in a , and the rest will go to Solace. Tickets get you entry to see every fight, and also entitle you to a matrix feed of the fights if you'd rather watch it via VR or re-watch it at a later date.

==Origin Story==
Grew up in a Vat 4 years ago as a grown Japanese h , then to which then put in a surgery of adding cybernetics on the whole body looking like a panda, even though that Japan has a tradition of mascots but to what he will now know is Panda Unit 104, Along with infused memories and skills though a year worth of PABS and a installed specially made persona. He became a versitile decker and adverage solder. The panda unit was made to protect the really high threat assets maxtrix wise, Other types of units were made for other uses like guarding to retaliation types against runners that took a job against the company. One day a runner team came in to steal date on from Wuxing and one of the runners knocked out Panda Unit 104. For some reason the runners wanted to take the cyborg back with them for more information what the person was but only to what they found is relavent is the person who is left is a blank slate with a personasoft program, still one of the runners who is Amur Manchurian had a soft heart and wanted to take the panda back to his place along with his caretaker Dr.Helmund Matsuda. Luckly the doctor found a bomb in the head of the panda and removed it, funny enough it was a dud due to faulty wireing. Still the Doctor was able to give the gist to the Panda cyborg about what happen to him along with his siutation as he know has free will in the vitual sense. the doctor mentioned the only way he can be save and earn money is by shadowrunning to along with the explanation of what to trust and what not to trust and how to work with runners ect... a nickname was suggested by Amur of Chrome Panda. Along for help the doctor got him a connection to a fixer of a italian mafia boss. Along with a fake ID, Chrome Panda is ready to go out and make some money so he can live on his own and find some answers about where it came from.

==Origin Story==
CAPTAIN FREEFALL was just an ordinary teenage Minotaur, living with his mother in a run-down apartment in Touristville. He was watching his favourite action superhero trid when he heard a comotion in the alley below the apartment window. Looking out, he saw a person getting mugged by 3 gangers, and he Knew What He Had To Do.

He leapt from the window and landed in the classic superhero landing. His arms and legs would've been shattered if he hadn't been a troll. He stood up straight and declared "Never fear, I am here!" He then proceeded to be beaten into a bloody pulp, and learned the importance of actual fighting skills.

When he eventually regained consciousness, he decided to go and learn how to fight the only way he knew how: by watching trids. He managed to find some Sangre y Acero broadcasts. His focus in training helped speed his Awakening, along with the tragic death of his mother.

CAPTAIN FREEFALL is a HERO OF JUSTICE.

After getting 10 k from the Johnsons, the Runners stake out the place to which then the matrix user found out around the time of 2 am there won't be any civilians, Still Kara put forth an idea of using a dead elephant to ram into the building but due to rolls they could not get that. So then around 2 AM they attacked the place to then killed all the combatants there but caused damage to Warlock. They went inside and at the basement they found a human baby. Just that those who are astral awakened are very much sick from this and caused stun if they are there long enough. They took the baby to the people that hired them who are wearing Guy Faux masks and got the rest of the credits.

==Background==
Shiawase is developing a new security drone, and Wuxing wants the man behind the design.

==The Meet==
The team meets at [[The Caged Devilrat]], a runner hangout bar in Touristvill that sometimes hosts meets. Mr. and Ms. Wu are waiting in the back, with a full meal prepared. They serve the team a delicious meal first, refusing to talk business until after eating (although they are more than happy to discuss other subjects).

After eating, the team is hired for an unwilling extraction, nabbing a Mr. Toshi Nakamura while he is demonstrating for his superiors a new drone that he has developed. Mr. Wu is not sure exactly what the drone is, but believes it to have military applications and is likely to be loaded with live rounds.

==The Legwork==
The team having been provided with the location, goes to scout the area out early. They have a little trouble navigating Hell's Kitchen, and Deimos ends up cutting a deal with a local fire spirit for its support. Deimos gives it a point of karma and for the next 2 days, the spirit will safely guide them through Hell's Kitchen and assist them in their endeavor. The team is now friends with Abi, a force 5 free fire spirit.

When the team makes it to the warehouse, they find it abandoned, and do a sweep of the area finding multiple sensor tags planted by Saeder-Krupp. The team destroys the tags, not knowing who they belong to but suspecting a third party.

They use the knowledge of the area to begin forming their plan...

==The Run==

The next day, the team returns, with some warning from Abi that this time people are present in the warehouse. The team approaches with caution, and Deimos approaches the 2 Sakura Security guards with Incubus Shroud active, quickly finding out via a mind probe that both see him as their superior officer. This is a Japanacorp, after all. There is nobody out here they would imagine as more likely to be around whom they have such deep respect for.

Deimos cons them into being drawn away for a sweep of the nearby area, and the rest of the team sneaks in to set up some gas grenades to ensure the whole building is flooded with Neurostun. After a while, the team pulls out having accomplished their goal and Deimos is warned by Abi that more people are incoming, and another spirit is with them.

The team hides from the security sweep, and the security sweep fails to spot their grenades, hidden inside a bunch of junk. they identify one member of the security team as a mage... and see the newly developed drone. The drone is a huge anthro drone with a spider-like body and guns on each leg. It is equipped with blades, small arms, long arms, a grenade launcher, an AA missile launcher, and a flamethrower. The team is reasonably scared of this thing.

The team realizes they can't fight it, and opts to deal with this issue as well as the FBA guards with about ¥16,000 worth of smart corrosives, programming them to go after a wide enough range of material to effectively neutralize any possible threat outside of magic. They use yet another set of smart corrosives to quietly enter through a back wall on the higher level, and throw their cocktail from the upper level. Abi materializes to set off the previously planted grenades, and is shot up quite a bit, but survives and a grenade launched form Jorogumo sets off the team's gas grenades.

The fight is brutal, but the team grabs Mr. Nakamura and runs for it. They discover that Jorogumo is unable to attack even in the general direction of a Shiawase employee, and the team tries to run for it.

The security forces have issues, as some are hindered by Naurostun when their armor has its chemical seal broken by the smart corrosives, their captain orders them all into the VTOL to chase the runners down. This would have ended very poorly for the runners except the VITOL was also hit by the smart corrosives, and didn't last long in the air before it gave out.

*Wuxing has acquired Toshi Nakamura, a brilliant drone designer.
*Shiawase lost their developer, and a VTOL and has some badly wounded security.
*Jorogumo is beyond repair thanks to the smart corrosives.

We went to the place as designated to meet the Johnson to where we were met in a conference room while he gives everyone a high class meal. I don't trust what ever gives in these meals as they could poison it and make us do the run for free. In there own delusional manner. Still they tell us to capture a drone maker near the active mt. rainier. I thought this was easy as I am a expert at extraction. We went over there and eventually we found a fire spirit that is willing to help us along with almost being melted from the inside from a steam coming from the ground. We eventually get to the location set up the ambushed, eventually a drone came of masterwork using a spider legs and have many mounted weapons. Lucky one of the guys had a lot of nantites that can pierce armor and the fire spirit set up the distraction. To then it worked to as many of the soldiers did get compromised with the gas and nanites to then I ran in and got the asset. I had to deal with live fire luckly dodge and then brought the guy away from the facility. Next the rest of the personal did go into there VTOL and crashed it. We head our way back to the van and delivered the asset to then we got our money, I think I would do it again to get another guy of this kind and I really wanted to get that drone but it was way too dangerous.

None were more surprised than I when...the Johnsons offered more than a drink or whatever, we got real steak. I decide to focus on eating since the rest of the team seems to get along better with the Js. Kidnapping plot ensues. I'm not too keen about it but try to think in terms of Dragonslayer also being the patron of plenty of viking type raiders. An unwilling extraction is just the modern day version of a viking wedding proposal, right? We go down to this hellhole where the volcano ate almost everything, almost go into the lava and steam vents, and putter around until we find one of the locals spirits. Mage talks to them and fortunately I didn't have my blade up and active. A weapon foci is one of the few universal languages, and none of the words are friendly.

Fortunately, friends are made, plans are formed, we find some bugs indicating yet another party might be coming for either the drone and/or nerd, and we're back the next day. Some creepy mind spell that makes you look like your ideal friend is cast (to me, the mage looked like my old boss, but as a corpse), the goons out front are led away. Shiawase's thing is political staying power, crackerjack grunts is not a thing they're renowned for...out of the Big 10, I think only Horizon is squishier in the apply-gun-directly-to-problem situation. That doesn't mean they're not dangerous. A little while later, after we get into position, a VTOL and a goonsquad and...one hell of a frankendrone step off. I'm not sure exactly what happened but one of the team nerds had some hillarious superdeath nanites we sprayed everywhere and also we turn through a nearby wall for an escape.

Its go time, I chuck in the toxins and start covering and dropping targets of opportunity. Dr. Anubis runs in, physical barriers are cast around the drone to stop it from pureeing the Doc. He eventually knocks out the target nerd's datajack, the drone stops attacking, we make our way out, and start running. The monad menace or whatever the frag tears through the VTOL and it goes down like three seconds after take off. The Js are happy, ask for footage of the drone. We apparently decide to hand it over for free in hopes the good will will be returned, and go our way. A bit messed up but no non-combatants injured and fatalities avoided/minimized, and we're alive, in one piece, not incarcerated, and paid. In the shadows that's called batting 1.000.

joined one of the singlearity clubs believing that the new technology of cybernetics will eventually lead to a state of eventual become a fringe artificial state like AI.He got his arms
replace as a show of willing to go into cybernetically enhancing himself. Eventually after graduating from the college he grew out of that kind of thinking, but still hold contacts. Around the time he graduate he went off to Cornell for his residency, after he finished there too, The war of Amazonia started, for this he found this as a opportunity to learn more of the trades in combat medicine along with a pretty good benefits. He went to be a Mercenary contracted doctor to Aztlan while working under aztechology. He learned how to
shoot well along with getting some free cybernetic enhancements to help him do better in combat such as new legs and running his cyber at overclock. But this war did not last
forever, He then was contracted to move to Puerto Rico for a aztechnology hospital till a dragon did Attack to which destroyed the whole island. The doctor did got severally hurt and was taken to a set up med camp. Still luckily a year before he signed a total insurance deal when he started working for the hospital that he much be healed under any
circumstance no matter the cost. With that they did a full body replacement with the exception of the back of the head to where his red hair is only left. After waking he was distrought but then he turned to think of his old routes of being a singlartist. Along with the therapy to allow him to start walk again, he was able to start again as a doctor before he was layed off for the reason of repairing back the hospital and a reason to take him off the insurance since his augmentations took so much money. Along with that he was
force to leave his apartment that was owned by Aztechology. Still left him as a metal man nothing else to do and being blacklisted for the possibility of going insane for the
cybernetics, so then he turned to shadowrunning. The eventual money that he made allowed him customize to something else more fierce like his personality. A tiger. And a van
off the boot, he eventually made

fund, after the boarding school he went off the Oxford to eventually become a doctor. As a student he wasn't known to be the best nor the most knowledgeable but got his grade down when needed without any bioware enhancements and drugs still while being part of the fighting scene in the underground getting very proficient in Sangre Y Acero and
joined one of the singlearity clubs believing that the new technology of cybernetics will eventually lead to a state of eventual become a fringe artificial state like AI.He got his arms
replace as a show of willing to go into cybernetically enhancing himself. Eventually after graduating from the college he grew out of that kind of thinking, but still hold contacts. Around the time he graduate he went off to Cornell for his residency, after he finished there too, The war of Amazonia started, for this he found this as a opportunity to learn more of the trades in combat medicine along with a pretty good benefits. He went to be a Mercenary contracted doctor to Aztlan while working under aztechology. He learned how to
shoot well along with getting some free cybernetic enhancements to help him do better in combat such as new legs and running his cyber at overclock. But this war did not last
forever, He then was contracted to move to Puerto Rico for a aztechnology hospital till a dragon did Attack to which destroyed the whole island. The doctor did got severally hurt and was taken to a set up med camp. Still luckily a year before he signed a total insurance deal when he started working for the hospital that he much be healed under any
circumstance no matter the cost. With that they did a full body replacement with the exception of the back of the head to where his red hair is only left. After waking he was distrought but then he turned to think of his old routes of being a singlartist. Along with the therapy to allow him to start walk again, he was able to start again as a doctor before he was layed off for the reason of repairing back the hospital and a reason to take him off the insurance since his augmentations took so much money. Along with that he was
force to leave his apartment that was owned by Aztechology. Still left him as a metal man nothing else to do and being blacklisted for the possibility of going insane for the
cybernetics, so then he turned to shadowrunning. The eventual money that he made allowed him customize to something else more fierce like his personality. A tiger. And a van
off the boot, he eventually made
