===Summary===
A hermetic adept, mentored by Raven, Chameleon is focused on infiltration, both social and technical. He can sculpt as any metatype or metavariant of either morphological gender. He has very good language and disguise capabilities. Although he is not a full blown social adept he has good social skills. Technically, he is a skilled infiltrator that can leverage both magical abilities and equipment while masking his true astral appearance. He follows The Artist's Way and is skilled in the performing, visual, and martial arts. He is a method actor and accomplished con man. Perfect time and voice control makes him a good singer. He draws and plays several musical instruments. After several months in the Seattle shadows he has established a small network of friends and contacts. His inquiries into the death of his parents are slowly progressing, he's made a Red Vory contact in Seattle and is acquainted with Volk and The Bear in Minsk. Unfortunately he keeps making enemies. First the Ordo Maximus and then November 51.

==Background==
Vladimir was 8 years old when he understood that his parents were spies. His father Boris was a CIA officer
and his mother Mary worked as an analyst for the Department of State. A year later he awakened and life
became very interesting. After graduating high school he enrolled in the University of Toronto's Department
of Linguistics. Vlad received both a BA and an MA in linguistics. After spending the summer in post-
graduation celebration he started serious consideration of employment...and then the notification came. His
parents had died in a fiery car crash after being forced off the road by another vehicle as they returned
to Kirov from Izhevsk.
After contacting Bill Cooper, a colleague of his father, he learned that there were several theories about
the crash. The first (and most likely) involved state action by the Russian government in a counter-
intelligence operation. The most likely agency would be the UGB. The UGB has primary responsibility for both
foreign intelligence and internal counter-intelligence. Moreover the UGB is notorious for employing counter-
intelligence assassination teams. Another possibility is the MVD which has primary responsibility for internal
policing and security. The UGB and MVD are bureaucratic rivals so it is possible that it was an op to upstage
the UGB.
A non-state actor was another possibility although that seemed less likely. There were no apparent connections to
the Vory or any corporate interests. There was, however, circumstantial evidence of a racist attack based
on mistaken identity. There had been a spate of anti-semitic attacks in the region. His parents (both red heads)
were returning from the annual red-head festival in Izhevsk. Bigots may have believed that their hair meant
that they were Ashkenazi Jews (who have a high % of redheads)

Chameleon's primary residence is a Tacoma condominium that he shares with [[Naomi Fisk]]. It is conveniently located near her dance studio Dame du Dance. He still maintains residence in the Capitol Hill apartment owned by the trust fund from his parent's estate. He has an office in the [[Zephyr-South Multi-Use building]] for his company, Clandestine Services LLC. He also rented an apartment next to [[Thun Field]] in Puyallup for storage of his modified Aeroquip M.E.D.-1 "Dustoff" Medical Evacuation Drone. His most recent purchase is [[The Public House]], A Capitol Hill pub. After four months in Seattle Chameleon had saved enough money to buy a Chrysler-Nissan Jackrabbit, freeing him from the shackles of public transportation. Since then he's purchased a GMC Phoenix for Naomi. All of his property, including credit accounts, is held jointly with Naomi.

Kent is located in southern King County and is part of Seattle's metropolitan area. The city is divided into three geographic sections: West Hill, the Kent Valley, and East Hill. Downtown Kent is located on the east side of the valley, about 16 miles from downtown Seattle and downtown Bellevue. Adjoining cities are Renton to the north, Auburn to the south, SeaTac to the northwest, and Tukwila to the north. Their condominium is in downtown Kent in a B security zone.

Capitol Hill is a densely populated residential district in Seattle, UCAS. One of the city's most popular nightlife and entertainment districts, it is home to a historic gay village and vibrant counterculture community. Diverse Capitol Hill is packed with hip bars, eateries and gay clubs, plus laid-back coffee shops and indie stores. Volunteer Park, atop the hill in a historic mansion district, has walking trails, a plant conservatory, panoramic city views and the art deco Asian Art Museum. It abuts Lake View Cemetery, where the city’s founders (and Bruce Lee) are buried. Kids play in the wading pool at smaller Cal Anderson Park. The [[Volga Bath House and Spa]] is within easy walking distance of his middle class apartment and he goes Tuesday and Thursday nights when not on the job. Chameleon is an early riser. He prepares breakfast and then meditates for half an hour. After morning chores, he and Naomi do weight training in the gym and cardio training swimming laps in the pool before starting their separate days.

Naomi has an unpredictable schedule split between her dance studio, the Amateur Theatre, and her cooking show. Chameleon's schedule is very predictable when he's not on a job. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are devoted to dancing and acting lessons with Naomi at Dame du Dance and live sazen meditation at the [[Blue Heron Zen Community]]. He is determined to master the five International Ballroom (Standard) dances: waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango and Viennese waltz. He is comfortable with the waltz styles and foxtrot, the tango is his favorite. The quickstep is his current project. Learning to competently dance as both partners is more difficult than anticipated. Luckily [[Katrina Smythe-Jones]] is a forgiving partner. The zazen meditation allows him to regain his Wa, his inner harmony, and to center himself in moments of stress.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are devoted to combat training. Tuesdays he trains at [[Veronica Saunders]]' downtown dojo. Thursdays he boxes with [[Mike Tunney]] in Bitter Lake. On the weekends he relaxes. Jason was born to Alexander Aristides and Sophia Argyris in the summer of 2060. He grew up in the vibrant Greek community along Danforth Avenue in east Toronto. His earliest memories are of a male warrior with a horse-hair crested helmet and bronze breastplate and greaves watching over him. He Awakened at a young age as an adept, his magic channeled into physical activities. Attended Seattle University's Magical theory and Arts program on an athletic scholarship. He met Thalia Sandoval through her occasional need for violence and his need for money to augment his scholarship. Thalia found him odd jobs in the shadows and by the time he graduated shadow work was appealing.
