What is there to tell but a short tale of illusions shattered, lives torn apart, and the great wheel of corporate oppression claiming another victim on his long spiral towards rock bottom. The Grand Masquerade finally at its end, revealing what lies under the masque of ineptitude and corruption is nothing more than a game of chance. See the world today is nothing more than a casino, there are players and there is the house. The house has all the money, all the advantages, all the power, while the players delight over the occasional scrap tossed their way. It's simple. It's pure. It's.... ''exhilarating''.

This is the truth that Variance now lives by, seeing everyday actions as a move by "the house" and attempting to work every angle. This mentality has led him in a downward spiral as his gambling debts mount ever higher, and the loan sharks circle ever closer. But still he revels in this predicament, seeing it as nothing more than a consequence of losing the game. Cards, slots, dice, lives, no game is beneath him, no payoff to low, and no risk too great. And it is precisely this mentality than landed him deep in debt to powerful people in the shadows. Forced to run in order to pay his insurmountable debt Variance has found a new kind of game. One where players win or they die, and that game is simply too fun to be passed up.

Mentor Spirt (Seducer): This brings influence is probably what led a young man down this path of vice and lies that Variance now finds himself walking.

First Impressions: Baffle them with your bull shit so they never see the hammer till it's crashing down on top of them.

In Debt (10): Better find some work don't think my knees can take much more of this.

Prejudice: Old habits die hard. Can't grow up in East Berlin without picking up a few anti corp sentimentalities.
