Lyra Smiths is a senior member of the Red Hot Nukes Gang and probably one of the longest running members of the gang. She is a strong woman who happily downs a large glass of alcohol before jumping into the local bar fight and is not someone the average person should fuck around with. She is the person to go to if you need some serious back up in a fight, get some explosives or require other goods you can not exactly go for to the mall. That said she is not a real smuggler and most of the stuff she has is for her own use, she is willing to part with it, but her prices are quite high.

==Background==
Before NAK-ACK became a runner he had a more innocent job. Running a small tech store in one of the poorer areas of Seattle and that would have been the end of that had it not been so that he also worked for a dwarven gang known as the red hot nukes and a tendency to use his computer skills to hack and try to learn things that he really should not be learning. The store was originally ran by his adoptive father who passed away when he was 29 after which NAK-ACK, Hayden at the time took over.

One day this backfired horribly and after getting marked and barely escaping the matrix his SIN got discovered by the corporation that he had tried to hack with the aid of NeoNET, Unity a corporation specializing in the sale of software. Luckily he had some contacts due to working with a gang for nearly half a century and he knew well enough what would happen if he were to wait for the corporation to take revenge. He called in a few favours with the nukes, got his shop destroyed and collected the insurance money to set himself up for a different life.

He got a fake sin, small drone, some extra cybertech, a gun and a much better cyberdeck, as well as his SIN, burned. Now he runs the shadows to make a living in the hopes of one day being able to take revenge.
==Narrative Significant Qualities==

*Prejudiced: Even though it was in large part his own fault. NAK-ACK blames NeoNET for his screw up on the job that caused him to have to run into the shadows and if the opportunity arises on the job to somehow screw them over, he will rarely pass over it, even if it might be an inconvenience or risky for the team or mission.
*Incompetent: NAK-ACK has no experience with guns at all, and is not planning on learning how to handle them after his few attempts to use one in the past have all ended in disaster. From leaving the safety on, to having the safety off and shooting himself accidentally in the foot. His gun is more for show than real protection and during a fight NAK-ACK is more likely to hide behind cover and try to find something to hack.
*Creature of Comfort: Though he grew up in what can be considered one of the slums of Seattle, the shop was not an uncomfortable place and was an oasis of luxury to NAK-ACK in the middle of the shitty place that are the barrens. Having seen the condition in which most people lived, he would do anything to avoid falling to such a level, even if it would mean getting himself in dept.

Get revenge on the Unity corperation. who forced him to run into the shadows, even if it was really his own fault.

Find out who his real parents are, something made much more difficult due to having his own SIN burned.

==Background==
Hayden was born in the year 2016 in a time the world was still adjusting to dragons, magic, elves, trolls and all the other crazy shit that had come with the turn of the millennium. He was born to two human catholic parents who were not quite happy with their child being a dwarf after pope John-Paul IV had denounced them as abominations in the eyes of

God five years prior. The result was that he was given to the nearest orphanage and would never come to know his real parents. Despite how it might sound being raised in an

orphanage was not all bad and the number of metahumans there was surprisingly high. All in all, Hayden grew up to be a somewhat cocky kid, a daredevil who was loyal to his

friends and tended to cause his fair share of trouble for the people in charge of the orphanage. It was not until he was fourteen that someone was finally willing to adopt him, an

elderly human who wanted to do something good after he had lost his son in the LA earthquake of 2028. The man whom Hayden would come to know as his father, George Willson. Ran a small techno shop in the Redmond Barrens and he would have gone bankrupt after the big computer crash in 2030 had it not been for a local gang, the red hot nukes, who helped him blow up his own shop for insurance money so that he could survive the economic crash that followed. George used the money to set up a new shop with

all the new equipment that followed that he ran together with his new son, although now he was seriously indebted to the local gang. Hayden had some issues growing up with the old man, but all in all, he quickly grew to appreciate George and learned almost everything about computers the man could teach

him. Living in the Redmond Barrens was tough but George had figured a way out of it. His shop helped smuggle in illegal things for the all dwarf gang and did the occasional

illegal hacking and cracking in return for protection and a certain persuasion that any business rivals would not settle too close to his place. Due to being a dwarf himself Hayden

quickly found himself as the contact person between the Red Hot Nukes and his adoptive father, a responsibility he proved time and time to loyal off and although he never formally joined the dwarf gang, he got on a rather friendly foot with most of its members.

Life continued mostly like that over the years. Hayden learned more and more about computers and how to get them to do stuff the original owners did not want you to do while he and his father racked in the Nuyen. Things went on like that for nearly fifteen years until George finally kicked the bucket and left the store to Hayden. Hayden continued running things as they always have but as time passed the business became more and more focused on the clientele of the gang as the little store "George's Electronics." became their go-to vendor for all their digital and electronic needs. Mostly detonators. Though soon Hayden started to dip into more and more illegal stuff and started taking on small jobs inside the matrix, building up his skill as a decker.

Things went rather well that way until he fucked on one of his "side-jobs" in which he had bitten off far more than he could chew. He had fucked up so badly in his attempt to escape that the small corporation that he had tried to hack, had managed to call in someone from NeoNET. The end result was that his location and identity got discovered and once

a corporation is on to you there are only one of two things you can do. Wait for them to come to you or run away. Luckily he had some favours and contacts he could use, enough

to get his SIN burned, some fake credentials forged and the insurance money off his shop to pay off the money for both of those things. Yet it left him in the awkward position of

having lost everything, his home, identity with nothing left to him but his skills. Instead of doing the reasonable thing and seeing how this was a mess of his own doing he
