After an MCT blacksite security team cloning experiment went wrong, 100 clones with a severe case of Intermittent Explosive Disorder breached containment and ended up escaping to the streets of the Redmond Barrens. After some time of confusion and uncertainty, the clones joined forces, becoming the Kyle Company and riding around the streets of Redmond on their dirtbikes to gather as much money as possible so they may one day destroy MCT, despite how impossible such a goal is.

* Ensure there is always exactly 100 Kyles
* Accumulate wealth and power, both for other goals and for fun.
* Completely destroy MCT.

The Jackaninny's Spike - A real piece of shit divebar out in the middle of the Barrens that was once the home base for a little wizgang is the home for The Kyle Company. When they're drinking or hitting on the dramatically unlucky women who cross their paths, it tends to be at the Jackaninny's Spike. It also is where they store all of their gear.

MCT - Their mortal enemies, even if MCT's interest in them is at most passing, at least until their story gets out wider. As long as people are unaware of the origins of The Kyle Company, MCT seems fine biding their time, as opposed to the Kyles themselves who desire bloody, bloody vengeance for having trapped them within labs for their whole lives.

==Current Status==
They've only recently escaped, but thanks to their rather high skill level, they've already made a place for themselves within the Barrens ecosystem and are doing well.

==Membership==
Becoming a member of The Kyle Company requires for there to be less than 100 Kyles. Then, you must biosculpt your body to be a perfect replica of a Kyle. If you meet these two criteria, then you are allowed to replace the fallen Kyle, using a personafix to overwrite your old personality into one of Kyle. Occassionally, they may force people to become members, kidnapping them and making them into a Kyle.

==Background==
Grey, dead halls. Rows and rows of women screaming in pain as doctors quietly watch on. In the halls of NeoNET's medical ward, Veikko Asunmaa was birthed. From this moment, expectations were high for young Veikko, raised by his corporate negotiator mother, and for a moment his also well respected father, though he was only 6 when he drank himself to death. Every day was training, education; honing him from a boy into a corporate citizen. And, as he grew into a man, the only break from this would be a chance meeting with a man from Erika known as Eetu Jaakkola, a man who genuinely cared for Veikko, and quickly would become his best friend. He also was a single father, and his daughter, Jaana, occasionally was tended to by Veikko to help lighten the load. Eventually, his education would finish, with a spiffy set of pheromones to boot, and into the world of corporation negotations he would go.

The Scandinavian Union doesn't accept failure, and Erika's expansion was aggressive: it was do or die. For some years, he could keep up with the pressure, but it was never eternal: he had to compete with masters of negotiation every day, and he was already on a thin thread for his work. But, at 25, that thread would snap, stress would consume him, heart and mind. It would start with a crash, as the stressed, now growing more cynical Veikko had began to neglect Jaana when given time with her, meaning he never knew that she had stolen some of his alcohol and driven straight into Vantaanjoki, only to come back up as a face that would never leave his mind until his dying breath. His best friend's daughter's death took him off his game, and soon after, he'd get fired, and with that, his SIN would vanish with his employment. Nothing was left for him in Finland, but he couldn't leave, and thus it was natural he became a runner, quickly known as Hölösuu given his prefence to conversation over cloak and dagger stealth-ops.

He spent years working there, and it was only once he got an offer from the Haven that he moved to Seattle, to finally escape his past - or at least get a change of scenery - at 35 years old.

===Positive===
Technical School Education - NeoNET did, admittedly have pretty good education facilities for corporate-born residents, and he took full advantage of them when growing up.

===Negative===
Family Curse - His father died drunk, alone. His grandfather OD'd on coke - back when it wasn't even Nova. They say his great-grandfather drowned in a pool of his own vomit. And this great lineage comes down to Hölösuu, leaving him afraid to take any drugs because he knows how easily he can come to rely on them.

Records on File (Erika) - Getting de-person'd doesn't get you completely erased: after all, they may have to kick your ass again, later.

While normally someone to not have any sort of role-models, he is a massive fan of the runner Copperfield, keeping a copy of his posts on the Art of Confidence saved to his commlink.

He has clinical depression, but never got it diagnosed to keep up appearances as a Face.

His favourite cigarette is a black and mild Early Grave.

==Background==
One rainy Wigan day, face lit by a nearby trashfire, with the asphalt as his crib, a baby was born - and that baby would be named Dick Speed. His mother was attempting to get to a hospital but failed to reach the closest bus nearby before he was born; I suppose it saves the paperwork of having to go into and out of the hospital, as somehow his mother ended up surviving birth with zero medical assistance. Despite this rather bizarre birth, Dick had a mostly normal childhood until he turned 7 where some kid laughing at him ended up completely mute for about a good 3 days, which is how he discovered he was awakened and got thrown into the alternate Awakened education system where he was taught solely Hermetic theory and the idea of the other traditions through the lense of UMT. When he turned 18, one of the girls from his graduating class - some moderately talented sorcerer named Shenna O'Toole - was interested in being with him, and so he shrugged his way into marriage and a baby named Mark Speed. He didn't want either of those things, but his parents and everyone around them sure did, so he bended to societal expectations and became a father.

While he got a basically guaranteed trip to Oxford Royale Academy due to his magical skill, his wife also ended up being able to go down there, ruining in his view the best part - not dealing with her. However, at the moment, he had full faith in what the college would teach him about magic and the world at large. Every day, it was a bit of learning mixed with a bit more frustration which eventually rubbed off onto their kid, Mark. He surprisingly never got into drinking, instead venting his frustration through extra-curricular work, making him into quite the well versed individual. And that breadth of knowledge attracted quite the strange being - in common parlance, a Mentor Spirit, but to the Dick who still stood for Neoplatonism in full as opposed to the minor levels that post-UMT Hermetics used, it was the Ideal of The Polymath. He showed up and instead of guiding him further into college, he told him college was only going to hyperspecialise him at this point, and that he had to explore the world in order to grow. Dick felt a wave of joy for the first time in his life, because he realised that means he could quit...everything (that, and he saw the writing on the walls of college leading to being a corpo - and he wanted freedom, not more chains). He flunked out of college, handed the divorce papers to his wife, and then ushered her and his son out of the home as he burned it to the ground, walking away with a song in his heart and a whistle on his lips as he burnt every bridge - including his SIN with the help of a guy he knew from college - he could in what appeared as, and may honestly have been, a complete breakdown which was building up for the years the two were married lovelessly.

He flew across the sea to Seattle to start his new life, a now bright and shining twenty five year old man with no legal identification, a body full of mojo, and a need for cash and enrichment. It was only natural that he ended up a Shadowrunner, having already decided on a sigil with a chaote friend of his that would be cool to leave as a calling card and earn fame from. It was his first few runs he got the alias Felix on, and a few more that he'd learn how to play guitar, but it was his 23rd - he'll never forget the exact number - that he got his deep burning hatred for another mage named "Levin". For, he wasn't able to go on that run, which involved breaking into an MCT building in order to steal what turned out to be the modern 2080 Analyse Device formula, entirely because of Levin selling himself better to the J and swiping his spot from under him. His blood boils from Levin's actions and how he rubbed it in his face, vowing to one day kick the everliving shit out of him for that and prove that he was the far superior mage.

And now, we come to present time - he recently got signed on for the ShadowHaven position, and has finally entered the big leagues from what all the stories about the place told him. It was only to go up from here.

==Background==
One rainy Wigan day, face lit by a nearby trashfire, with the asphalt as his crib, a baby was born - and that baby would be named Dick Speed. His mother was attempting to get to a hospital but failed to reach the closest bus nearby before he was born; I suppose it saves the paperwork of having to go into and out of the hospital, as somehow his mother ended up surviving birth with zero medical assistance. Despite this rather bizarre birth, Dick had a mostly normal childhood until he turned 7 where some kid laughing at him ended up completely mute for about a good 3 days, which is how he discovered he was awakened and got thrown into the alternate Awakened education system where he was taught solely Hermetic theory and the idea of the other traditions through the lense of UMT. When he turned 18, one of the girls from his graduating class - some moderately talented sorcerer named Shenna O'Toole - was interested in being with him, and so he shrugged his way into marriage and a baby named Mark Speed. He didn't want either of those things, but his parents and everyone around them sure did, so he bended to societal expectations and became a father.

While he got a basically guaranteed trip to Oxford Royale Academy due to his magical skill, his wife also ended up being able to go down there, ruining in his view the best part - not dealing with her. However, at the moment, he had full faith in what the college would teach him about magic and the world at large. Every day, it was a bit of learning mixed with a bit more frustration which eventually rubbed off onto their kid, Mark. He surprisingly never got into drinking, instead venting his frustration through extra-curricular work, making him into quite the well versed individual. And that breadth of knowledge attracted quite the strange being - in common parlance, a Mentor Spirit, but to the Dick who still stood for Neoplatonism in full as opposed to the minor levels that post-UMT Hermetics used, it was the Ideal of The Polymath. He showed up and instead of guiding him further into college, he told him college was only going to hyperspecialise him at this point, and that he had to explore the world in order to grow. Dick felt a wave of joy for the first time in his life, because he realised that means he could quit...everything (that, and he saw the writing on the walls of college leading to being a corpo - and he wanted freedom, not more chains). He flunked out of college, handed the divorce papers to his wife, and then ushered her and his son out of the home as he burned it to the ground, walking away with a song in his heart and a whistle on his lips as he burnt every bridge - including his SIN with the help of a guy he knew from college - he could in what appeared as, and may honestly have been, a complete breakdown which was building up for the years the two were married lovelessly.

He flew across the sea to Seattle to start his new life, a now bright and shining twenty five year old man with no legal identification, a body full of mojo, and a need for cash and enrichment. It was only natural that he ended up a Shadowrunner, having already decided on a sigil with a chaote friend of his that would be cool to leave as a calling card and earn fame from. It was his first few runs he got the alias Felix on, and a few more that he'd learn how to play guitar, but it was his 23rd - he'll never forget the exact number - that he got his deep burning hatred for another mage named "Levin". For, he wasn't able to go on that run, which involved breaking into an MCT building in order to steal what turned out to be the modern 2080 Analyse Device formula, entirely because of Levin selling himself better to the J and swiping his spot from under him. His blood boils from Levin's actions and how he rubbed it in his face, vowing to one day kick the everliving shit out of him for that and prove that he was the far superior mage.

And now, we come to present time - he recently got signed on for the ShadowHaven position, and has finally entered the big leagues from what all the stories about the place told him. It was only to go up from here.

Becoming a member of The Kyle Company requires for there to be less than 100 Kyles. Then, you must biosculpt your body to be a perfect replica of a Kyle. If you meet these two criteria, then you are allowed to replace the fallen Kyle, using a personafix to overwrite your old personality into one of Kyle. Occassionally, they may force people to become members, kidnapping them and making them into a Kyle.

The team doesn't manage to get a solid grip on what's happening here, but they do kill a bunch of vampires, which seems to do the trick.

==Background==
One of the national-level NCP political footballs is the planned new Cincinnati megaplex arcology - a project that has been in development hell for years. The NCP is finally pushing the project over the start line, with national funding flooding in, and as part of that initiative, their fixers are smoothing over the last few wrinkles impeding the kickoff. Hassan Bahreini, as one of those fixers, reaches out to some runners he has personal experience with from his whirlwind time playing fixer for the Seattle governor's race and pulls them out east to get a property deal closed with a minimum of muss and fuss.

==The Meet==
The runners attend a major virtual event in Ohio and their nominally anonymous employer explains that he wants this matter handled without substantial news coverage, carnage, or anything else that would cause the new development effort to stumble over the starting blocks. He's not really sure who owns the shell company that owns the aquarium or why they won't sell, and he doesn't really care. He just needs them to sell the damn property. The team agrees, though they don't do anything to assuage how very jaded he's become about shadowrunner negotiating tactics.

==The Legwork==
The team smuggles itself to the operational zone and spends a day at the aquarium, just scoping the place out. The aquarium, by day, appears to be operational and the staff reasonably well taken-care-of. They slip a Festo Sewer Snake into the facility's waterways and leave with no-one the wiser. That night, they activate the snake remotely and use it to explore the aquarium, which reveals that the closed shark exhibit has been separated from the rest of the facility by a slick FAB-3 aquaculture pod, ensuring that nothing dual-natured can get into or out of the tank via the existing water connections. The sewer snake, being a robot, wriggles through easily enough and finds itself in a confusingly-pitch black tank with a film of light-absorbing goop floating at the top. Above the goop, sensor-overloading UV light generators appear to be running continuously, while bizarre Latin chanting runs on a loop. The team takes all that in and tries to make sense of it, but fails. Vampire sharks, maybe?

They track down a local PI who previously resisted investigating this matter and shake him down for information - he reveals that the facility's ultimate owner is a local oligarch, who also happens to be a mage and a dues-paying member of the [[Illuminates of The New Dawn]]. The team reaches out to a wholly unrelated contact of theirs who is also a notable member of the Illuminates, Hassan Bahreini, and ask him about the man. Evidentally, the oligarch pays his dues but he doesn't participate with the group much.

==The Noise==
The runners are left confused and uncertain how to proceed - leveraging an oligarch is fairly challenging. They decide that the quickest way to cut through this Gordian knot is to simply demolish whatever weird (science? magic?) is taking place in the Shark Tank.

Chameleon sneaks inside the facilities room for the shark tank, sets a remote camera up, and then activates the FAB-3 colony, instructing it to spew aquaculture death into the shark tank at maximum volume, then bugs out. The team reunites in the parking lot and watches in mounting horror as a twisted, inhuman nosferatu climbs out of some kind of rigger cocoon in the facilities room, discovers what has happened, and attempts to put a stop to it. It becomes evident, as the vampire empties the tank, that the tank was being used to hold HMHVV mutants, of which only one appears to have survived. The team elects to use cyberwarfare to identify the exact location of the vampire in three-dimensional space, drives around to the back, and uses an overabundance of firepower to assassinate the vampire from outside of the building with a double-tap. Then they scarper as a luxurious vehicle, presumably the vampire's intended exit vehicle, rolls past them.

This was a weird one. It's a shame that it wasn't just some rich idiot with more money than sense trying to create vampire sharks for his spy-execution pool or something. Instead, we've got weird cultists operating their whack shit in spitting distance of a family vacation spot. I don't know who those people are, and I don't really care - a little industrial sabotage seems to have been all that was needed to get the job done. Paz is too blast-happy to let us jet and collect our funds without shooting something first, but hey, the guy was a famously bad dude, so maybe there's some good karma coming our way for the righteous deed.

[[Chameleon]]: Never a dull moment in the shadows but wowza, what a run. I'd never heard anything good about southern Ohio and, in fact, it is a shitehole. And Cincinnati is the ''good'' side of the river. The run started pretty well, the pay was pretty good. Sizzles and Paz were legwork wizards. On-site recon went smoothly and then the aquatic drone did its thing into the sealed shark tank in the Newport Aquarium. The more we learned the worse it got. Magical research on awakened sharks? That explains the FAB III [both aquatic and aerosol] but why the gigantic bank of UV lights? The guards in FBA carrying crossbows with wooden shafts?

Up until now all of my infiltration has been body sculpting professional liar stuff. Time for technical work. Paz is an amazingly good clown and did quite the distraction so entry was easy. Snuck to the entrance to the shark tank and put a data tap on the biometrics of the lock so Sizzles could rummage through the host while I hid in the bathroom. He was very successful and the news got even worse. A fragging nosferatu. New plan - I sneaky-feet to the FAB III containment controls, flood the tank and hope like hell we kill everything inside. I hit YES to the emergency over ride and as I left a sensor tag the rigger cacoon above opened up and someone ''flowed'' out onto the floor. I can hide behind ruthenium and thermal damping, I can manipulate my aura in all sorts of interesting ways but I can't hide my living aura on the astral. Sneaky feet got me out in time though. We got 6 of 7 people(?) but Alexandu the nosferatu saved one and stuffed him in a body bag. While I snuck out to our wheels Sizzles and Paz did some matrix stuff to tag(?) Alexandru. Then Paz shot his arse right through the exterior wall! Twice. That is the biggest gun I've ever seen. All's well that ends well but this isn't over. Sizzles has video of Alexadru bringing the tanks to the aquarium 7 years ago. He was accompanied by 6 tall figures cloaked in black.

Even if those vamps were problems, they could have executed the problem instead of putting a timebomb with a NOSFERATU in place."
