Sora 'Heihachi' Takenuchi is a slightly older Dwarven Semi-Rig driver who was knocked into a coma due to a truck accident. Afterwards, he decided he'd instead become a Rigger and take Seattle for a ride instead of the other way around!

==Background==
Sora Takenuchi was a semi-successful semi-truck driver for several years. However, due to a massive accident involving a drunk semi-truck driver, Sora was paralyzed and left in a hospital in a coma. He came out of it after a year, everyone having given up on him except the doc that had worked tirelessly to keep him alive. Somebody had to... so when Sora woke up, Edrahil Starflower was the only one there.

The climb back was grueling. Not only was he paralyzed from the waist down, the in-use of his body for a year left him rather atrophied physically. His mind was much quicker to return to him, though some aspects of his normally good-natured personality were shifted a little gruffly. Probably partially due to everyone he knew abandoning him, and partially just from the traumatic injuries.

It took a while, but Sora, now going by the moniker 'Heihachi', left the hospital as his savings had mostly dried up. Edrahil Starflower helped him out as best they could with a bunch of Cyber parts, including an older drone control rig taken from a dead rigger. Heihachi decided he was not going to be that guy, and took his time to learn how best to utilize this. But if he was gonna properly utilize everything... he was gonna have to see his old junkyard pal DD... man didn't even have the decency to see him in the hospital... so he'd make the old coot make time to see him! Armed with a wheelchair, he made his way onwards back into Seattle, opting to become the eater instead of being eaten.

==Summary==
A corporate leak selling secrets to Cutters is fixed.

==Background==
A Transys corporate SINner by the name of Albert Wellesley aims for promotion like all corporate climbers do. Acting as his right hand man and spymaster in corporate politics is Hogan Simmerson, a limited corporate SINner managing various skulduggery plots against him. Unfortunately, Hogan found a lucrative offer when doing business trips overseas from the UK and agreed on a deal to sell discreet paydata and advice to the right buyer, with the Cutters acting as a middleman.

==The Meet==
Wellesley meets the team in a Matrix cafe in Downtown, elaborating that he wants Hogan discredited and in prison for at least six months so he can cover his current standing. Alternatively, if someone else decides to take grave action, it'll be removed enough from him and the runners to not rouse suspicions. The team isn't impressed by the lack of money put forth by Wellesley and so they negotiate some up front cost coverage and for Wellesley to pay them several thousand nuyen if they succeed, as well as access to one of his internal infobrokers in Transys.

==The Plan==
The plan is to implicate Hogan in a forged espionage case where he's framed as handing over Cutter intelligence to the Ancients, then disseminate this information organically to the Cutters. After that, the Cutters will take care of Hogan for the runners.

==The Run==
When trying to look for a mid-level Cutters lieutenant to extort for data, Badger finds Kevin Crimes as a potential target, heading out to extract valuable component for his partybus. The team prepares an ambush in a junkyard and with Badger and Brunhilde working together take out guards one by one. Crimes has situational awareness enough to deploy several drones and scour the area once his guards go missing, so Dice distracts the drones by pretending to be one of the guards. Kevin isn't fooled and Dice gets badly wounded by rifle fire, but it's enough of an opening for Brunhilde to strike in and inject Narcojet into the remaining Cutters, getting Badger access to Kevin Crimes' RCC. There, Badger comes up with an idea to doctor the drone footage to make it look like Hogan was the one posing as the guards instead. After destroying the bloodstain Dice left behind, the team leaves with a lucky doctored footage left behind as a red herring.

			A relative uncomplicated, if risky operation that proved to be very lucrative, if somewhat damaging to the reputations of law enforcement and creating new rivalries in the shadows.

			It's a pretty simple story. A girl named Azure had been trying to get away with robbing diamonds some time ago and had stashed her diamonds in a little hideaway.

	~~==Background==~~		And then KE built a fucking precinct on top of her stash.

			She couldn't really do much about that though. But she needed money now, and she needed runner help to do it since she was not going to be able to break into a goddamn precinct alone. So, she called up a low-level fixer named Ardent who used to work with the Laesa Syndicate and could probably string things together. So, he got calling.

			The call was fast, and indiscriminate. He managed to pull a few nicer players over to the meet - [[Chance]] aka P3ck3r, [[Exodus]], and [[Tsarina]]. A decker, infiltrator, and a face, perfect for discreet work. They met in a Loveland dive bar in the sort of red-light district type area Touristville was known for, only with more prostitutes around. They kept things brief and professional. Ardent and Azure gave them the details on the job, from the spot the diamonds should be at to the timeline, along with a chance for a bonus if they got some Ancients out of confinement who were at the precinct. They were on a short one-day timeline, but this wasn't the most dangerous job. Tsarina pushed for some pay up front to make sure no one got slighted, and that was just fine. The two left the runners to get working, and they dove on it fast.

			Chance knew this place pretty well already. He could bust that host just fine. They knew how to get in, but the location of the diamonds being in a hallway with good foot traffic meant that Exodus would need a distraction. Tsarina could handle that though. She just needed a disguise, a good enough SIN to pass through scanners out the front, and a plausible thing to be outraged by to set herself up. They went about preparing themselves, forging documents and shopping around for SIN work and a genewipe since...yeah having a scan of her actual biometrics would be bad. They managed to get the SIN of one Rebecca Montez faked and then got to work putting the plan to motion.

			- Chance gets into the host and opens up the way to Exodus to get into position

			- Tsarina goes in after and starts the distraction so Exodus can move further into position and get the diamonds out, then find a place to hide

	~~==The Plan==~~		- Chance then opens up the cell doors to let the Ancients out, letting them burst through floundering guards and giving Exodus cover

			- Finally, with both objectives secured and cover had, Exodus makes her escape and the team gets off Scot free

			And to their credit, things went mostly to plan. With a loaned chameleon suit from Tsarina, Exodus and Chance working together to get her in, and some well-placed salami tosses to distract hounds and the workforce overseer at the vehicle bay, Exodus was able to get into position relatively easily. Chance wasn't struggling at all to get through the host and subvert its defenses. The first major obstacle however was that Tsarina's SIN was nearly flagged by the SIN Scanner despite its incredible authenticity. Chance managed to change the outputs quickly on the fly and save Tsarina more difficulties, but the second issue was that Tsarina hadn't realized how close these people were to Lt. Montez. They bought her impression and her disguise, and she fit in fine enough, but she was failing to fully convince them of her bogus case. This at the very least gave the gang the needed distraction. A nosey aware almost pierced through her masking, but thankfully some teamwork helped keep her safe in her exposed position. She had to make a hasty retreat, making a dramatic flourish of her papers (and throwing them in the aware's face to boot), but she did her job and Exodus got in position. The infiltrator managed to get the diamonds just fine and went to hide out in the maintenance room to await the breakout. Trouble was that a bent beat cop named Chad Brent was taking his break right by the room. Thankfully, he is very easily bribed as Chance recognized, and the promise of 500 nuyen got him out of the way. Then, he released the Ancients, and they bolted past the already confounded knights who were wondering what had gotten into their friend. Nagual projected in, an air spirit ready to apprehend the sorceress should things get feisty and checked out the shack inside. He didn't notice the alarm ward she had placed there, nor the one-way ward that he sleazed through just fine. This alerted the hiding ex-runner, and her detection spell was then noticed by Nagual. When he went down to investigate the floor space under the shack where the sorceress was hiding under, she activated her astral perception and smacked him across the astral face. He fled immediately and warned the others as he sent the air spirit after her and the other two rushed into action. Bullet Time thankfully hadn't been able to fully prepare herself to fight against the team, so even if she had them outgunned one on one perhaps, she couldn't handle 3 people hitting her hard. And an air spirit engulfing and nearly killing her certainly doesn't help.

			Some emergency medical assistance later, and she was stable.

			Caroline was...somewhat concerned by the way her mother nearly died, but nearly isn't "dead", and they let her leave a message. The other runner team failed to actually catch them across the border, so they were able to get the woman hospitalized near Tarislar and went to collect payment from Hellsing. She was a bit worried that the target was in a hospital, but she moved fast to make sure things were alright.

			A small thing that Obumbrata managed to retrieve for Hellsing was an old hit list that BT kept. It made Hellsing remember how much she didn't like the girl.

			She collected their bounty and paid the crew the next day.

			Jennie "Bullet Time" Winston is an old school runner type, pre-crash. A hermetic sorceress who didn't really value much in her life beyond herself. Her magic, her friends, her everything was built on how to best utilize what she had - consequences be damned. That was in part due to her former corporate background with Ares making her rely more on using others rather than trusting them, but that sort of thinking doesn't serve someone well in the shadows, where trust is gold. She was fairly accomplished in her prime, learning to defend herself from nothing and being a fairly sneaky, slippery devil of a woman when it came to dealing with folks, but it seemed like she couldn't help but turn on others when she got the chance. She fled Ares, she'd pissed off Renraku and MCT through her running, she sold secrets to anyone who would buy, and that's not even touching on the runners she fucked over to get her way.

	~~==Background==~~		One of which was Hellsing - a woman who was once a deadly street samurai and adept and who is now trying to live a quiet life and support those whom she couldn't before after years of building connections and amassing her wealth. She knew Bullet Time back in the day. She was one of the runners BT had set up and left for dead. If it weren't for her paramour (and future wife), she likely wouldn't have made it out. In the past, if she had found the girl she would have killed her on the spot. But she's somewhat more mellowed out now - she can see the business before the bloodlust now. And to be frank, as much as she'd like to kill the bastard, Jennie was worth more to her alive than dead. Besides, she wasn't the saintliest person either.

			So, when a person in her network identified a high-profile bounty target and Hellsing recognized who it was despite the years, she made some calls.

			The meet itself was pretty standard - an early afternoon call that Hellsing hated doing but figured was necessary to make sure they didn't lose their chance. She wanted her brought in, preferably alive. After some arm-twisting (aided by how Hellsing reacted while going over Bullet's past behavior and having a particular look of familiarity with it), Ubuntu managed to get a forward advance for the team as hazard pay and as a bit of extra funds for the sake of handling operational costs. Hellsing provided the squad with a pickup they could use, courtesy of a contact of her own, and the forewarning that there were probably others on the girl's tail.

Glenn is a technomancer who's still looking for a cause. He's a restless, twitchy recluse who makes his money via spying and sending sprites on information-gathering tasks.

===Goals===
Glen wants to find a purpose to his life and his "gift".
==Background==
Pill was an Otaku,young and a part of a small tribe that was happy simply using their gifts to explore. His tribe never had a chance against Deus' "recruitment", and only he and a few siblings were able to jack out of the Matrix and escape. None of them hesitated when Overwatch found them and gave them a place to hide, and they cheered their hearts out when news of Deus' end reached them. After the crash, Pill was one of the people who were trapped in the Matrix when the second Crash happened, and his Technomancy gift was how he was able to survive. Now, he's gone into hiding in the shadows to protect himself, and runs for money to fund his reclusive tendencies as he tries to figure out what to do with himself to try and help prevent a third Matrix Crash.

Glenn is of average height and fairly thin, the type that doesn't seem to spend much of his time lifting anything heavy. He wears plain, bulky clothes and always with a hood covering his wavy hair, and spends a lot of his time in places with crowds such as bars or other public gatherings. The more people in a public place, the more busy AR around him is - and that's when he feels the most comfortable, and unseen. He gets nervous when the spotlight is on him.
