Trying to find more info, Ribbon dived the host only to get caught, but the spider asked to speak with Ribbon directly and she obliged.

As it turns out, Amy was fleeing Seattle as her status as an elf and drake were caught, and she was no longer safe. Her kidnapping was actually an extraction designed to look like a kidnapping, and this is why Sylph was so worried. A call with [[KLBR]], the leader of 9x39 Logistics, allowed Sylphiette a chance to say goodbye to Amy.
