It wasn't hard to see this youngster was never bound for a life anywhere but the shadows - but she soon found out that a runner's life is not everything the trids promist it will be.

			Anne-Marie had two best friends in the entire world: Iréne Facilier and Marcéline Dubois. The trio were often a nuisance to [[Ursule Facilier]] as they grew up, but Ursule found the three young women to be talented at what they did. Anne-Marie had the technological prowess to get around basic systems and was a whiz with a car. Her daughter, Iréne, followed in her father's footsteps - she was skilled in not being seen and getting where she needed to go, and could handle herself in fight if she needed. And Marcy could talk to anyone or anything for hours on end and seemed to have a natural knack for getting people to tell her what she wanted, when she wanted.

			It seemed they were destined to do great things - until Ursule sent them on a mission that went sideways. The Voodoo Posse was making a run at the target Ursule had sent the three young women to extract - they held out as long as they could against the superior numbers of the Posse, but in the end suffered catastropic losses. Anne-Marie was left with a desire to spend as little time in New Orleans as she could after the incident; the Voodoo she had witnessed during the ordeal was something that had left her quite scarred. Marcy lost an arm. Iréne lost her life.

			So Anne-Marie spends her time for the Technicolor Wings now as a smuggler, often taking Marcy on runs to combat the loneliness. She mostly smuggles drugs in return for guns, but has been known to smuggle people for the right price. She's very knowledgeable of the routes between New Orleans and San Francisco and Las Vegas, though they have been making the run into Seattle more often now.
