"Nation Québécoise Pour Toujour's week long protest of Cree treaty rights in Quebec has generated a week of counter protests by Coalition Antifasciste Québécoise that has escalated into violent confrontations each night. La Gendarmerie has deployed significant security forces to the area but has failed to prevent nightly street battles. Earlier today the Quebec Museum of History announced enhanced security and restricted operations.
Hopefully, La Gendarmerie will soon have the situation in hand. For TVQE I am Pierre Cote."
