Bubblegum had a good thing going on by buying up commlinks from all the other local gangers and breaking the SINs on them to sell...until a few folks from the Haven managed to slaughter her entire gang and ruin her business. She'd be more upset about it all, but they let her relocate to LA instead of murdering her, and--truth be told--that was more than she expected them to do for her. Thanks to their actions, she realizes she can make way, WAY more money by partnering with groups like the Haven and selling them burnable SINs. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
