==Overview==
Charlie Von Hoensbroeck is exactly what many think when exposed to the words "Ordo Maximus", hailing from a noble Dutch family that traces its roots as far as the 1300s, being a mage of respectable power and experience, and being unapologetically dramatic. While none of the above facets are lies, they also act as a shield of sorts, a public face for the man, that by acting as just a trust fund baby hides his affiliation to the inner circle of the organization, the one mired in vampirism, rituals, conspiracies and all sorts of other dark affairs.

Welcomed into the infected life by a cousin from the German branch of his dynasty, and consequently initiated into the "true" Ordo, Charlie has been serving the cause dutifully for years. While his magical power is not lacking by any metric, research and rigorous study have never his calling, preferring to be of use by means of his charisma, acting as ambassador, spy, diplomat and really anything else that was necessary at the moment. His role in the larger organization has never been one of creativity, but rather reducing the friction between members with diverging agendas, the vampiric inner circle and the more mundane outer shell, and the above outer circle with the rest of the Sixth World.

Having been recently redeployed in Seattle in response to the increasing turmoil of the region and the more and more daring stunts pulled by the agents of Dragons and Lodge alike, he has been spending the last few months in the Emerald City, getting a feel for how things are run in the shadows and planning to build his own network of shadowrunners, in preparations for things to come
