==Overview==
Who is Ciro Reyes? A mercenary, a ruthless businessman, a good friend to have and the last enemy you’ll ever make. All true, but ask the man himself and his descriptor would be, “self made.” Reyes grew up destitute on the streets of San Diego, joining up with a small-time mercenary company to escape his fate as gutter trash, he climbed the ranks of his little band with guile, determination, and no small amount of luck. Reyes was a good soldier, but his best skills were always with people- he knew how to work them, how to use them to his own ends. He made connections, sowed dissent, and eventually would usurp the company’s leadership, going on to transform a small-time operation into a force to be reckoned with.

==GM Notes==
*For Reyes, who grew up having to fight for what little he had, power is everything, and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep it. Having worked hard to claw his way up the corporate ladder through various means both underhanded and otherwise, he has no intention of ever leaving. Despite a cushy lifestyle, however, his abilities shouldn’t be underestimated. He’s calculated, intimidating, clever, and sadistic when it comes to corporate politics... Or his underlings.

*Expensive alcohol is a hobby, and an extension of Reyes’ personality. It's something to show off, something to lord over people. "This bottle is worth more than you'll earn in your life and I'm going to drink it like cheap beer because I can."

*Hard drugs are a vice. It comes from his past military exploits, where the noxious blend of combat stims he took could mean the difference between life and death. His time in the trenches is long past, but he’s still chasing that old high, and sometimes only being completely blitzed out on betameth can make him feel alive.

*For Reyes, being a bit of a bastard has become something of a casual passtime. When you have as much power as he does, it can be fun to make those lesser than you squirm. It’s not uncommon that he’ll purposely try to intimidate or scare his contacts purely for entertainment. He loves reminding both his croneys and himself where they all sit on the food-chain, and will dangle wealth and status above the heads of those lesser than him as easily as he pounds designer betameth. He’s earned the lifestyle- why not flaunt it a bit?

*Ciro has always had an interest in cyber warfare. He’s not a decker himself, he’s a people person- but he has educated himself on the subject and folded it into his strategies wherever possible. Always on the lookout for the next big advantage he can exploit, he’s determined to give Ares Macrotechnology the leading edge in matrix operations… or at least himself.

*Reyes is middle aged, with the wisdom and experience that comes with that, but is so modded out with expensive bio and cyberware he neither looks nor feels it.
