Knowledgeable as he was on haints and fearsome critters, it was like nothing Grackle had ever seen. 	Lucky for him, Grackle’s team mates sprang into action- CURIE throwing herself in front of the gnome to take the blow, stolen Humanis flag fluttering behind her like the cape of a super ~~heroin~~ as her armored hide absorbed the blow, while Mojo Joe sent a bolt of arcane energy crashing into the beast’s side. The magician’s arcane bolt sent the strange monster tumbling into the flames, where it quickly burned to a crisp. The end of a legend, and perhaps, an endangered species. 			The Spectres, a wizgang fond of small-time mischief but looking to go legit, involved themselves in the Haven’s mischief-night scavenger hunt. The gangers decorated a bar they frequent, “Greasy Ben’s,” with festive candles in honor of the holiday season- a few of which bore an awakened sigil visible through astral sight, and would burn with a green flame when lit, marking them as those the runners would need for the scavenger hunt.

			Unfortunately, one of the Spectres got a little… overeager with their task, and accidentally started a fire. Greasy Ben’s lived up to its name, and the conflagration quickly spread out of control. Our daring runners would have to rush into the burning building, find the candles before they melt, and get back out alive once more.

			Though the fire wasn’t the only danger lurking these dark streets, however…

	==The Meet==		==The Meet==
			The crew arrived outside Greasy Ben’s to meet with their Johnson, a member of the Spectres named Snoop Pogg, who was waiting nervously out front of the building. The wizard passed a spliff to the crew, though only Grackle accepted the deepweed, before explaining the situation for the runners. He made extra note to warn the three of a potential extra danger, something of a local urban legend… except it was far from legend. Local awakened knew to avoid the area after dark, as those not careful tended to end up drained… or not show again at all, a flurry of claw marks and sign of a struggle the only thing left.

			==The Plan==
			Smoke began to billow from the kitchen window of the bar as P O double G laid things out, and not the usual haze that accompanied the ganger. The crew knew they needed to act fast. Grackle, donned a gas mask as Mojo Joe summoned a water spirit and bound it into a wickerman to help suppress the fire. Time being of the essence, the gang dove in…

			==The Run==
			Grackle clung to CURIE to avoid being trampled by fleeing patrons as she and Mojo Joe rushed into the smokey building. Immediately looking around, they noticed a few candles among the wreckage, hanging from the ceiling. Also, a Humanis flag (it is Renton, after all) which the gang took for themselves. Grackle assensed, but the candles didn’t appear to bear the magical mark they were looking for- however, he did see a glimmer of something near the back, where the smoke was coming from. The eager gnome rushed towards the shimmer, but what he found wasn’t a candle…

			Making a quick getaway in Mojo Joe’s car, the runners took turns lighting candles from the box until they found three that burned green, claiming their candles for the scavenger hunt. They made a quick call to Snoop, letting him know the job was done and negotiating their reward… after the fact.
			Snoop, mercifully, kicked a few thousand their way and gave the crew his contact information, in case Grackle wanted to smoke sometime and the others decided to stop being square. The three decided to end off their adventure, as all good adventures end- with food. Mojo Joe treated the three (two, given CURIE had no stomach) to real food at a nice restaurant to celebrate their victory over the inferno that was Greasy Ben’s.
