==Overview==
Juan "Jack" Miller is a fixer operating out of Oakland in the San Francisco Metroplex. He is a man who has seen a lot of conflict in his life; he was born to an ork family exiled from San Francisco after the JIS occupation began, and he lived through the California Protectorate era, during which he operated as a go-between for different resistance factions under the aegis of Ares corporate citizenship that gave him legal protections from the regime. Today, he makes a living by continuing to know people involved in illegal and quasilegal operations in California and the rest of the West Coast, though his affiliation with Ares was terminated not long after the end of the war.
