==Summary==
A customer stiffed a weapons dealer on a shipment, and Mr. J wants his goodies back!

==Background==
It's Gang War everywhere, and the Yakuza are feeling pressure on all points - particularly their presence in Bellevue. It's not a normal stronghold for the Kanga-gumi, largely limited to a pachinko parlor. Their allies are hard-pressed and their resources are running thin.

In need of weapons, they turned to the Ciaraniello Family. The weapons were delivered as promised...but the Yaks seemed reluctant to pay. The Ciarniellos were understandably insistent - some words were said, some guys were shot and feelings hurt, and the Yaks retreated with both shipment and their payment.

The Family was understandably upset. They made some calls, and shadowrunners were summoned.

==The Meet==
The meet is in a quiet part of Bellevue, by an alley near a 'hotel' of dubious comforts. Colcannon, a Fomorian adept, Cully a young Mysad, the dryad Dice, and Muffet, of apparent corporate background, met up and did a 'get to know ya'. Not long after, a '40's model classic car (we're talking 1940's) pulls up and Mr. Johnson stepped out - a troll, fairly huge, and proud of horns and vehicle and smelling rather ''tailored'', introduced himself. He did not reveal for whom he was representing.

He explained the problem; a fairly simple one. Local Yaks ordered a weapons shipment, and at the hand-off declined to pay. Mr. J wanted the weapons back. The group conferred and inquired whether a more peaceful solution was possible - sale completed, payment retrieved, relations restored. Mr. Johnson thought that rather hilarious, but after some sexy posing by Colcannon and sugary words by Dice, he accepted that as an acceptable alternative - just so long as the Yaks paid "extra!".

Various members changed into more work-appropriate attire, and they started in on the job.

==The Plan==
The first step was checking in on various contacts. Not a lot got dug up - but mostly that the Yakuza were fighting a three-front war. The Bellevue group lacked magic support and likely rigger backup. They were mostly just muscle, but still a threat. Key among them was one 'Makoto', a hardcase underboss who had mixed it up with runners before and left some of their corpses behind. He favored, and was expert in, a shotgun, and was said to have a fancy model.

The group, being less on the 'explody' side, and more on the 'chatty deft touch' side, elected to try diplomacy first.

==The Run==
They drove over to the site, parked discretely nearby, while Muffet jumped into the Matrix. There she soared like an eagle, slipping by the defenses with ease. She obtained a layout, disposition of personnel, and even got the model of the shotgun (fancy!). She prepped a variety of mayhem, including the party favorite - setting up Makoto's shotgun to eject a clip every time a shot was fired. The first shot would hurt, but it would get difficult after that. Having finished that part, she took up an elevated location with a sniper rifle and stayed on casual overwatch.

Meanwhile, Cully had assensed the building and was able to make out that it had a barrier around it and a roving watcher spirit. They opted against trying to crash the barrier, as it would alert the mage connected, although the consensus was that a mage wasn't on site, as these could be done by ritual or a visiting mage.

The party simply decided to walk in and talk it out. As soon as he got inside, Cully called up a Force 6 spirit, without apparently being seen (making good use of the vast Colcannon as a screen). A hitch was revealed as an elf, troll and pink-skinned Occident strolling into a Yakuza parlor was not met warmly - despite Dice's head-flip, hair-toss effort to hide her ears.

The gob-smacked door-flunky stammered that they should probably leave, but once again Colcannon and Dice did the good criminal/bad criminal routine, with aggressive looming by Colcannon and reasoned de-escalation by Dice. Makoto was identified behind a bar, and enough of an impact was made that he waved them over. Cully asked his spirit to try to 'confuse' the underboss to aid negotiations, but Makoto proved strong of will. Cully pivoted to asking the spirit to be ready to fill Makoto with fear if he started to attack.

Meanwhile, Dice laid out the proposition. Makoto complained about the circumstances. Various tensions arose and subsided through silky words, and finally he invited them into a back room (along with two gun-flunkies).

There, negotiations proceeded apace. The party helped by feeding Dice various insights. She introduced the possibility to revive the original deal....with suitable recompense. Makoto thought he had the upper hand, as Muffet alerted the group that A) gun-flunkies were drifting towards just outside the door, and B) that reinforcements were about 10 minutes out.

Makoto then identified the group - Colcannon the obvious muscle, Dice the obvious face, and...who was Cully? The young lad from Puyallup began to lay some random bravado, but the effect was ruined when Dice introduced him as 'arm candy'. Possessing absolutely no game whatsoever, Cully blushed, ruining his brag. But he mentioned enough about magic to be the new focal point of several firearms. He countered by asking his large spirit to materialize right next to the underboss. It was balance of a sort - and enough to reinforce Dice's proposal.

Deciding he was in an uncomfortable position, Makoto appeared open to resolution, but pride and tradition required a show of strength on the part of the runners. Colcannon loomed and posed yet again, Dice spoke with authority, and the underboss acquiesced. Some dickering about the form of compensation took place, as Makoto protested Dice's original demands of double payment (for blood debt and cost of retrieval). Some counters were made, and ultimately it was agreed that 50% extra payment be made, BUT the team each owed him a service. He accepted that it would not be against their sensitivities. The pact was sealed.

==Aftermath==
The group returned the Mr. Johnson and reported the agreement, both to his surprise and humor. That was furthered when Muffet produced an image capture of Makoto's face the moment he suddenly realized a large spirit was giving him the stink eye mere inches away. Payment was made, and bonus provided, and everyone left happy and healthy.

The Yaks maintained a working relationship with their weapon supplier. The supplier got paid, as did the runners.
==Rewards==
