Raised in the tumultuous landscape of the country, Katerina learned early on that survival meant navigating the treacherous waters of the underworld. Her family, always on the fringes of society, struggled to make ends meet in the face of corruption and crime.

			As a teenager, Katerina found herself at odds with the local Vory v Zakone, the Russian Mafia, who sought to draw her into their web. Fiercely independent and determined to avoid a life of crime, she made a bold decision to enlist in the military. Serving with distinction, Katerina developed a sharp mind and even sharper combat skills.

			However, her military career took an unexpected turn when she clashed with her commanding officer over a mission that went against her principles. Unable to stomach blindly following orders that she deemed morally objectionable, Katerina made the difficult decision to leave the military.

			Now a civilian, Katerina struggled to find her place in a society that seemed to be closing in around her. Desperate for a way out, she was drawn into the underground world of shadowrunning. Starting as a low-level bodyguard and smuggler, she learned to thrive in the chaos of the Seattle shadows. Her Russian roots and military training gave her a unique set of skills that made her a force to be reckoned with.

			Through a combination of cunning, resourcefulness, and a willingness to get her hands dirty, Katerina climbed the ranks of the shadowrunning community. She honed her skills as an assassin, earning a reputation as someone who could get the job done discreetly and efficiently. Her heavy Russian accent became a calling card, striking fear into the hearts of those who crossed her path.

			Over time, Katerina, now known by her street name KLBR, established herself as a nouveau riche figure in the underworld. She navigated the intricate web of alliances and betrayals, always keeping her true motives and loyalties close to her chest. The shadows became her playground, and she embraced the dangerous dance of intrigue and violence that defined her new life.
