Local KE teams are in over their head and [[Jane Dior]] calls in a runner team for assistance.<br /> <br /> ==Background==<br /> Someone continues riling up the local outcast awakened, organizing them for some nefarious purpose, but who, and to what end.<br /> <br /> ==The Meet==<br /> The meet, as it short as it was involved a location near the Redmond border, the team was giving most of the runs details in advance and was instructed to come strapped and ready for action. The team was given special dispensation to cross borders unchecked and a helicopter descended to meet them, accessing local grid guide services to divert traffic. The team boarded, was granted a DNI link with Jane, and she provided the team with more details while en route to the location.<br /> <br /> ==The Plan==<br /> The helocopter will hot drop the team onto the roof of the building while Jane&#039;s forces secure the street level, with hopes to meet someplace in the middle. Their goal, clear the build, and if possible find and rescue a SWAT team captured during an early entry attempt. Civilian casualties were deemed unacceptable as was extreme damage to the building.<br /> <br /> ==The Run==<br /> The runners leapt heroically out of the helicopter, executing a perfect tuck and roll while Obsidian was airlifted out via spirit support. The helo began suppressing fire while the team cleaned up the mishmash of gangers from various different gangs triads and corporate security forces, all seemingly working together. Huntress took special care to use non-lethal rounds initially, even successfully subduing one of the &quot;captives&quot;. In a brief lul after the initial wave of hostiles, Obsidian used a clairvoyance spell to investigate the penthouse floor, finding a group of feral ghouls standing with a dangerous looking man with dual axes and a couple of suspicious magician types and a pair of spirts. With targets located, the team setup a pincer maneuver and engaged. A drawn out engagement began, spirits engaged spirits, suppression fields heavily hampered the magicians while Gav rushed the ax wielding adept. Huntress and provided fire support in an attempt to keep the Fire spirt off of Gav while Meltdown engaged the blood spirit. In the end Obsidians guardian proved too much for the magicians who crumbled before the might of its shotgun, though not before one of the exploded a feral ghoul corpse spreading infected matter all over the room and the other a devastating ball lighting which nearly took out Obsidian. The team finally took the field and cleared the blood mage threat.<br /> <br /> ==Aftermath==<br /> The loss of the blood mage caused a loss of coordination with the remaining groups of hostiles within the building. Without commands to keep them operating in concert they started following their most recent order of securing the building in more familiar ways, grouping up with their own kinds, turning on each other, ect. This distraction allowed for the KE forces on the street to successfully breech and secure the remaining floors.
