			A long and sordid history of one Levine Velen can be found in Lone Star's criminal records. His file alone is split into three volumes, each twenty pages long. His connections back in the day saved him from serving life in prison and nowadays he's hardly the hardboiled criminal mastermind he was back then. He even was an ambitious man in the ranks of the Ancients, working long and hard before he peaked at the rank of Colonel. After that, however, he began feeling the luster of gang work lose its shine and formally resigned from his post. In practice, however, he's still as much of a member as everyone else, since few truly break away, but his work was enough to leave a good impression. Nowadays, he's a neighborhood influence that occasionally stops by to show the new blood the ropes, helps with the various connections he's nurtured over the years and helps keep Tarislar in working shape. His lack of proper rank doesn't stop any Ancient worth their salt from knowing who they're talking to, so in reality little has changed. Except he's filled to the brim with drugs.
