Upon his return he found the place burning and his friends dead with the exception of Miguel who was nearing his end, sharing his final words Miguel bequeathed Mark his custom Warhawk that was originally a birthday gift to Miguel from Mark and ensured that Mark promised to carry on the good fight. Sharing one final moment Miguel's life slipped away before Mark's eyes and he fled into the Seattle night.
