The lab was burred underground and partially within a hillside. RR scouted out the apparent main entrance while Neijing located a concealed air duct and a collapsed shaft of some form. The entrance was well secured and contained fiber optic vison ports, a secured door and camera system. The surface vent, a motion sensor and ~~camoflague~~, and the shaft appeared to be an old stair well or elevator. Neijing wriggled their flyspy through the rubble to investigate the shaft more, finding only a deep pit with a couple of doors welded shut, one for each floor of the facility. Until now the team had managed to avoid detection but once inside the shaft, Neijing was spotted by one of the security deckers managing the base. Tempest at the time was masked as a magic 3 magician and found herself trapped within a high power mana barrier. Not willing to stick around and see what happened next, tempest pushed through the barrier and escaped it, fleeing back to her body.

The team kept the guard sedated and ransacked her apartment, stealing some weapons and security armor. 			With Tempest's cover set up the team waited a few days for the next shift rotation and Tempest joined the rest of her "coworkers" for a ride down to the base. The team overhearing chatter about being excited to see the new toys they are allowed to play with. The team arrived near the base around the same time as Tempest did and the action phase begun. Tempest wasted no time fitting in with the new guards and managed to escape being spotted as suspicious during the entrance security checks, both sin and astral information matched the implanted offsite records and she was allowed entrance to the base. Mean while Neijing attempted a physical infil through the air vents. BHop assisted Neijing on the matrix, disabling alarms on the vents and toggling fans that blocked Neijing's progress. Red Ribbon maintained a secure getaway vehicle and kept watch outside. While Tempest was processed for entry and given an orientation from the local cyborg head of security, X-332, Neijing scouted out portions of the base visible from the vents and BHop began the host dive to locate mission critical files. Following orientation, Tempest was allowed to roam the base until her next duty assignment and found herself in the armory. Once there the team was shocked to find that it contained a number of functional plasma pistols that each of the guards took, Tempest included. Additionally the armory contained a various weapons, armor, and a stockpile of missile launchers and missiles. On the lower levels Neijing eventually located the research labs containing assorted prototype components, suit of prototype Borg armor being shot at by a mounted Archon, and a dismantled non-functional plasma rifle. Over on the Host's side, BHop was deftly avoiding detection by a pair of patrol IC and a spider. Eventually Hop located research files for a number of active projects, plasma pistol/rifle research, early designs for plasma shielding, advanced laser weapon research, as well as advanced armor and ballistic weapon designs. They began the long and arduous process of dismantling data bombs and encryption on each of these files and began to copy them. Getting greedy however, Hop tried to copy more than just the stolen plasma research and was eventually spotted by both the IC and spider. A combat ensued which eventually resulted in the spider being bricked just before some Black IC nearly killed Hop, sending her into overflow.
			This daring combat put the entire base on lockdown and HTR was dispatched to the base. Tempest continued to avoid direct suspicion but once Neijing had already stolen the Archon and Borg armor which locked down the labs that Tempest was currently in. As Neijing attempted to escape the base with the plasma rifle, armor, and laser in tow Tempest talked her way out of the lab and ultimately stopped by X-332 on the upper level. Now fully suspicious of her, X attacked in hopes of capturing Tempest for interrogation. Tempest, not willing to be captured, fired a massive blast of electricity, which nearly collapsed the ceiling down on her, took out the stairs to the lower level and a number of internal doors. the HVAC system in the adjacent room was also destroyed, with Neijing still inside it. She was luckily able to drop 15 meters to the floor below moments before the blast, avoiding the brunt of the damage. X-332 escaped unarmed, fleeing down the stairs as the ball of death formed.

			The entire base now aware of an attack, most guards moved towards the main entrance and set up defense lines along the only perceived exit. Neijing began the slow climb back out of the destroyed rubble and machinery while Tempest set her eyes on the welded door they had seen from the shift outdoors as a likely escape option. The two remaining security spiders engaged security drones and wall turrets while the guards on the lower level cut their way through the 2nd door below. Tempest took some minor damage from the laser drones and fire element that arrived to delay her while Neijing joined by Tempest's side. The guards below began to fire shotgun blasts and plasma bolts at the pair. Red Ribbon launched drones to assist in, firing grenades into the rubble in hopes of clearing passage for her team. Magician guards continued to run delaying tactics by placing mana barriers and physical barriers at the entrance to the shaft, buying precious time for their comrades to being down the intruders. Tempest and Neijing continued engaging the drones and spirit attacking them while RR avoided fire from the shaft. A strong plasma bolt from X-332 finally landed on Tempest, dropping here to the ground. Seeing that Neijing, was unable to carry Tempest out amidst all the fire, Red Ribbon engaged the winch on her van and Neijing attached it to Tempest. Once both were on, RR hit the gas and ripped the two out of the "clear" shaft, undenounced to the non magical members of the team, a potent mana barrier was still in place and Tempest's dual natured body tore through it. The interception luckily did not kill Tempted, but the security system on the plasma pistol she carried nearly did. Once it left the confines of the bases stabilization field, the excited plasma contained in its clips exploded badly burning Tempest further. The vampire's regeneration was barely sufficient to keep her alive as the team escaped the bases perimeter. RR's expert driving skills avoided the perusing drones, the inbound HTR transport and escorts, and the SK satellite surveillance grid, allowing for their escape. The team called Slava for exfil from the country and escaped by the skin of their teeth.

This began the first host dive of the run. The plan, slip in and try to locate information related to the facility as well as secondary information related to it. Supply deliveries, staffing, layouts are all fair game. Narrowly avoiding the patrolling IC and spiders, Hop found a file room with personal files related to the facility. These files contained information on staff rotations, on site staff numbers, and with each file a coded value linking to their file to their injected nanite system. The soldioers were not too pleased with their mission being preempted to drop off some passengers and neglected to inform them that their vehicle would be ejected from the transport and engage in a HALO jump. The team was shocked but Red Ribbon managed to keep it gether and get on the ground safely. They had arrived in the AGS.

The team decided on some physical recon before settling on a plan and drove to the facility.
