Opportunists took full advantage of this setback, and soon her family was practically outcast, all the wealth they had built up trickling away. One day, her father packed up all their things, put the family in the van... and drove them off a cliff. Pixel doesn't know if he intended to - was he drunk, was it an accident, or was he really trying to kill them all? Regardless, Pixel survived - physically, at least, but officially declared dead. With nothing to go back to anyways, she was content to let them think so.		And then her family lost everything. Her father was working on a major project, only to be destabilized by an unknown rival, hurting his reputation in the company. Opportunists took full advantage of this setback, and soon her family was practically outcast, all the wealth they had built up trickling away.
