==Summary==<br />
A fairly standard search and rescue turns into an impromptu manhunt and surprisingly long conversation about whether or not to kill people.<br />

==Background==<br />
A young elven woman by the name of Delilah went missing in the barrens. While this is normally not something that will get any notice, her younger brother happened to be friends with an up-an-coming fixer, who called in a team of shadowrunners to look for her.<br />
<br />
==The Meet==<br />
The runners met their Johnson, [[Mr. Neil]], In a Mchughs in torristville. [[Setter]] and [[Trauma]] assensing him revealed that he was likely a shifter, specifically a rat. He told them that his friend's sister had gone missing, and that he couldn't call knight errant because she was sinless. After some brief negotiations, the team left. <br />

==The Plan==<br />
After asking for a photo, [[Nearl]] had a spirit search for her. The spirit reports that she's in the Rat's Nest, and the team heads over. <br />
<br />
==The Run==<br />
Arriving there, they find a corpse, but not of their principle. Investigating the corpse, Nearl discovers that the target appeared to have died in a state of terror, and only a few minutes ago. She does fail to notice the stab wounds however. [[Blackhawk]] Assenses the area, and realizes the man had been essence drained before his death. Searching down their principle down, they find her nearby, and go to figure out what happened. Assensing her, they find out that she is indeed infected. They decide to knock her out so they can give the Johnson a chance to figure out what to do next. Nearl's spirit easily takes the untrained banshee down, even as she tries to run, but the spirit forgot to mention the 10 people also converging on the area, who showed up and opened fire on the group, with the two mages doing their best to knock out Nearl, although failing. After taking out a majority of the force the rest run or surrender. After tracking down and knocking out the ones who ran, they interrigated the ones who surrendered. They revealed they were sent by [[Akira Pharmaceutical Supplies]] to kidnap Delilah, and the mages on the team decided to try to take Nearl and Blackhawk too since they were infected. After an argument, the team ordered leal to erase the opfor's memories of the runners, leaving them with a note that they had failed their mission, and the corpses of their teammates to prove it. <br />

The team brought the principle back to the Johnson so that he could decide what to do next. <br />
