	Harold Jones was born just in time to witness the tail-end of Corporate takeover of the world. Remembering the freedoms of his youth and wanting to ensure others had a chance to experience them Harold joined Lone Star at the age of 18 and served well into his 30's. As he worked he noticed the ever present corruption within the security force especially in regards to its Seattle contract. His service came to an abrupt in when he was assigned to lead a newly formed SWAT squad in a raid on suspected smugglers operating near the Bellevue/Redmond border. Once they arrived however they quickly found it had been a setup and the squad was quickly dispatched with Harold being ~~his~~ by well shaped mine that blew-off both of his legs and caused enough damage to his hands and lower arms to result in their eventual amputation during his hospital stay. Immediately following his recovery he was discharged for the deaths of his squad and for falsifying information. Defeated but unwilling to simply fall over and die, Harold was tended at his home for a time by a permanent nurse. In this time he was able to call in some favors with old contacts to supply him with an entry level cyberdeck and to be fast-tracked on how to hack. He took to it with relative ease and worked as an infobroker until he was able to buy the most basic of cyberlimbs, with regained freedom he ran the shadows all the way up to Crash 2.0. Through this time he had hoarded his nuyen and used it to amply upgrade his cyberlimbs as well as his deck following the introduction of the wireless matrix. Through all these years he had been gathering what bits and scraps of info he could on that raid and those involved. Still coming up empty in important places rather than retire with his remaining nuyen he continues to run the shadows to make contacts and continue gathering info to prove his innocence and to gain the gear and skills he would need to hunt down and kill those who had wronged him nearly 2 decades prior.
