Royce Vance is from a long line of professional wrestlers, a dynasty which could stand up in fame to many others, so by all intents Royce should have been destined to be a star, except Royce was born a gnome. Fascinated with the field despite the fact that his size and a fraility that not even working out could really solve for him prevented him from participating, he still found work in the industry from a managerial side of things.
