			She was born in Seattle and has lived her entire life in basically the same neighbourhood. Her father died of unknown causes when she was a child and her mother was infected with HMHWW and turned into a Banshee a couple of months later, which might as well have killed her. After the loss of both parents Yasmin was both emotionally and financially destitute. She did odd-jobbs here and there until her magical talents first bloomed. A spirit in the form of a wolf approached her and became her mentor by teaching her the ways of the druid. She had quite the talent for it but never felt the need nor want to become a part of a corp. Instead she wanted excitement and so she walked around the city at night. Which was obviously a bad idea. She wanted to take on a gang (by herself) but before she could commit suicide in a roundabout way a talking monkey (a Hanuman) stopped her and talked some sense into her. They became friends and joined the shadows together.
