	Strings is a powerful mystic adept of the Black tradition. One of his notable qualities is his ability to manipulate others with simply his voice. When that fails, Strings specializes in Manipulation spells which he uses liberally. He follows the Raven, and this is made obvious by the illusory raven whom is almost always found perched on his shoulder. Strings is, at his core, a manipulative, selfish man who is out for himself.

	Born in the United Kingdom, Strings Awakened earlier than most. Even at a young age, he had become adept (ha. ha.) at manipulation magic. Whatever the case, he used his powers liberally. It was simple at first. Getting stuff for free. Telling his parents to "frag off", and it always working like a charm. He Slowly, he started to become cold. And colder. And even colder still, to the point where his parents' death was but another happening. Knowing that his gift would never be accepted, he turned to the shadows. Here, his powers would be a boon.

	Anna was, once, a simple wage slave working a simple job for Fed-Boeing. She lived in Seattle her entire life, born and raised, and was content to enter the work force for the biggest employer in the city and live out until retirement, not becoming involved in the shadows. That is, until the SURGE. Anna had attended a Halley's Comet viewing party with some friends from high school, one part celebration of her getting a job and one part a farewell to their childhoods. Under the light of the comet, though, Anna changed. It felt as though the grass she was laying in was growing into her skin. In the pain of the sudden mutation, she passed out. Upon awakening, she realized that she had become a plant-human hybrid of some sort, due to the effects of what had been dubbed the SURGE. Fortunately enough for her, Seattle had been used to goblinization for long enough that she had gotten medical help and analysis. Under this analysis, her suspicions based on her green skin were confirmed, that her metabolism had become partially photosynthetic.
