==Overview==

Trần Hiền is by most accounts a hard-working office lady. A 'Media Coordination Officer' in the Seattle branch of Shiawase & Rubicon Advertisement, she has the unremarkable day job of collating key headlines, patent notifications, and article abstracts into an easy-to-read digest for consumption by upper management. By all accounts, she is good at this job.

Those in the shadows know her better as an information broker keyed into the byzantine minutiae of mega-corporate politics. Hien displays an encyclopedic knowledge of corporate staffing, from mundane postings and ordinary retirements to juicier tidbits about headhunting attempts and internal disciplinary measures. She also displays a canny awareness of policy changes that might seem ordinary to outside observers, but signal deep and rumbling changes in the corporate eco-system.

Hiền sells this information with the hefty pricing of a woman confident about the value of her goods. However, she is also open to trading for interesting and not widely known bits of information from areas which are not her specialty - such as the political events of the shadow community or Seattle's criminal underworld.

==Appearance==

Physically, Hiền is a slender, dark-haired Vietnamese-American whose diminutive frame disappears easily into a crowd. Aside from a datajack, she has no obvious ware.

She rarely consents to be seen physically, however, outside of her daytime persona. Hiền instead goes by the matrix moniker of 'Featherfall,' using a persona of a black-necked swan with clipped wings.

==Personality==

For both a corporate wage-slave and an information broker, Hiền has a languid, unhurried way of speaking. She mulls over word choices, sometimes repeating ones that stand out to her, as if tasting the flavor of sentences.

Otherwise, she is straight to the point and business-like, especially on 'work calls.' She's sometimes quick to name a price even before the request has been fully vocalized. Hiền does not respond well to threats or aggressive negotiation, and has no qualms about simply hanging up if a conversation is not going well.

She is a fan of procedurals, period pieces, and the occasional zombie thriller. Successfully referencing contemporary trideo connected to these genres will brighten her mood.
