			A product of a night of passion between two members of the shadows, Isaac Carter was born to and raised by his elven mother Maria.

			The majority of his young life was spent moving around due to the nature of his mother's profession, mostly being left in the care of her friends. During these early years his magical affinity began to stir and manifest driving him to train in an emulate his mother. He early on made the choice to train his physical body and magic talents rather than pursue academic ones all under the guidance of his mother. His mother and her friends taught him the ways of the sprawl and the shadows.

			When he was 15 his mother took a job and never returned, unable to contact her friends he was left to fend for himself. Her disappearance took a large toll on him and he quickly descended in more violent self destructive behaviors that would eventually see him becoming a runner both as a way to make money and find out what happened to his mother.
