As a preamble, all run rewards listed below are suggestions intended to encourage some degree of consistency with run rewards. The goal is to keep runs of similar threat levels at ''roughly'' similar reward levels from GM to GM. Deviations outside of these suggestions are acceptable within reason. GMs are encouraged to use their best judgement when offering run rewards.

==Baseline Rewards==
The Baseline rewards are essentially "Rewards given for just plain doing the job". Mr. Johnson may be planning to pay the runners based on the below guide, and baseline karma rewards may be exceeded by other factors listed below.

*Milk: 0-3 RVP
*Low: 2-7 RVP
*Medium: 6-11 RVP
*High: 10-13 RVP
*Semiprime: up to 20 RVP
*Prime: up to 50 RVP

==Side-Objectives==
Side objectives may be added to runs by the GM which add additional run rewards. These side objectives are in addition to the above. Below is a simple guide to provide a rough idea for additional rewards. GMs should base side objective rewards off of the added difficulty of completing the side objective, rather than the posted threat level. e.g, if there is a High Threat run with an easy, Low threat side objective, the baseline RVP should pay for a high, and the side-objective RVP should pay for a Low side-objective. Runs may make use of multiple side objectives, but it is encouraged that each side objective should present its own set of challenges for players to overcome.

*Milk: 0-1 RVP
*Low: 1-2 RVP
*Medium: 2-3 RVP
*High: 3-4 RVP

==Goodfeels/Badfeels==
GMs have complete freedom to adjust rewards as they feel appropriate based on player decisions. This may come in a number of different forms. The specifics are left entirely to GM discretion, although Thematics holds oversight to apply a simple retcon to adjust rewards. A few examples are below:

* Mr. Johnson is angry as the job was not fully completed to their satisfaction, and therefore only offers partial payment for a "partially completed job".
* Mr. Johnson is pleased that the runners exceeded all expectations, and therefore offers them a bonus in the name of continued good business relations.
* The runners made morally questionable decisions (as far as morals go in the shadows) and therefore received less karma.
* The runners went out of their way to do something genuinely good to help improve the lives of others, therefore the GM awards additional karma for their good deeds.
* The players did something spectacular, creative, or otherwise impressive which pleased the GM, therefore the GM awards additional karma just for being awesome.
* The runners made a connection with an NPC who they greatly helped out, and it would make sense for them to stay in contact, therefore the GM awards them as a contact.
