Yarrow is a mystic adept of the Green Magic tradition. In addition to her general love of the environment, she has an inordinate fondness for plants, which she has pledged to protect with the full force of her skill and magic. She is boisterous and loves company, but serious when the situation calls for it.

==Background==
Yarrow was born in Redding, CalFree on September 14th, 2055. Her family raised her in the shadow of Mt. Shasta. She began to express as awakened at a young age, and when the Saito regime seized CalFree at large in 2061, her parents tried their best to shield her from the troubles. She didn't get the worst of it since they were a human family, but many anti-meta elements present in CalFree were also anti-awakened, and her parents didn't want to take any chances with their daughter.
After the Ash family had rebuilt their lives in the wake of the war's end, they discussed the possibility of Yarrow going to live with the Shasta shamans to develop her magic powers. Yarrow was around 19 by then, and it was about time she got an education anyway. While the Shasta shamans entertained this possibility, it was cut short by the assault on Mount Shasta and subsequent toxicity of the surviving shamans. Yarrow was so repulsed by their toxic nature, she fled into studies of a different sort from mainstream shamanism. She saw the world as in need of protection from toxicity, and she came to learn the way of Green Magic.
