			Zatsu’s background is one for many born in the Redmond area of Seattle as it isn’t called the Barrens for nothing, as it is truly a Barren place ran by the likes of criminals and gangs. Especially the area of Redmond that Zatsu is from, the District known as the Crash Site, an area of the Barrens that had a history of trouble and major incidents. Making it not the easiest of places for Zatsu and his little brother to grow up in, especially when both of their parents were killed when the boy where both very young, Zatsu around the age of 9, and his younger brother around the age of 6. Leading to Zatsu using the streets to help feed himself and his brother a way to survive, something that the young Elf found very hard at first, though luck would have it for Zatsu when he hit the age of 10 he would manage to find himself Awakened, though learning Magic on the Streets of Redmond wasn’t something that was quite simple as it wasn’t to many open Mages, and especially ones willing to teach a young Elf boy running around the Crash Site district.

			Thus leading to Zatsu spending the next three years mainly learning magic by managing to steal whatever he could get his hands on while still doing his best to feed he and his little brother something that was far from a easy task. Though once Zatsu started to get a little knack in magic, finding ways to feed him and his brother got slightly easer for the young elf. Especially around the time Zatsu was turning 14, as he would soon gain the interest of members of the Ancients and soon find himself joining the ranks of the Go-Gang, which would make his life way better for he and his little brother then it had been, as the Ancients would soon start to become like family to Zatsu and his brother as the branded Zatsu with the nickname Astro, for his knack and slight knowledge of the Astral plane. As Zatsu skill with the Astro plane had come in handy more then once when the Ancients had got into some situations.

			Though Zatsu knew that just being a member of the ancients wasn’t going to help him in getting the life that he wanted for he and his brother, so Zatsu soon came to find himself working in the Shadows as a runner when he wasn’t completely busy in Ancient business.
