Background
Rumors have a way of spreading fast. Moreover, the more nuyens are involved, the more the rumor gains traction. The latest in the talismonger circles of Seattle is news of a sizeable amount of radical cinnabar, which could double as both very powerful reagents for a variety of traditions, and as one of the three components necessary to make orichalcum, the most magically powerful material currently available to metahumanity. Needless to say, a professional talismonger like His Beardliness Belegar son of Gotrek son of Thor would be a fool to not try to get his hands on those goods, although, he does want to go about it in a way that won't utterly nuke his reputation with the rest of the awakened portion of Seattle's shadows
The Meet
The meet is at the Mr Johnson's own shop, with all the runners being on time, somewhat functional and not arguing (a rarity, if we are honest). His Beardliness Belegar son of Gotrek son of Thor explained rather briefly the matter at hand, and asked the team to find who was in possession of the cinnabar, and then convince them to sell it to him, with bonus pay offered in case the team was able to negotiatae a better price for it. He was also very clear to not use any violence, mind magic, or other such actions that could sour his relationship with the future seller.
The Plan
All the team had was a digital trace, and so, the team's hacker, Glitch, got hacking. After some matrix searching, she attempted an host dive to retrieve both proof of possession and a workable address, or at least, a general direction. The host dive was less easy then planned, but in the end, she managed to win. The seller was deep in the Orkish Underground
The Run
Ducky was quick to point out that any attempt to enter the OU required the team to look like they belonged there, as none of the members were trogs, and particularly the Tir noble Aishar was especially out of place. After a quick outfit change, and lending him her AK, and the face taking charge in showing how to swagger like they do it in the OU, they got moving and managed to avoid local attention. While in the area, via a search from a task spirit, the stash of cinnabar was located, and the team managed to reach without hiccup the front entrance of the talismonger's shop that held the item. Ducky posed as a buyer, intersted in the product, leaning also on Aishar's actual magical expertise in a consulting role and Glitch's seductive powers to get the future seller in the right mood. The man, who self identified as Zacharius Pallas, was at first reticent at the idea of selling, even after an astoundingly effective negotiation from the pirate, but after he let slip that he had a boss above him, and that the boss had certain troubles of an awakened nature that required solving, the team offered to solve the above problems to facilitate the sale, and furthermore, secure an even better price.
The price took the form of two free spirit of man squatting in buildings were associates of the gang lived, and they needed squatting. Aishar did so via Influence spell and no bloodshed.
Aftermath
