At first glance, Axxess seems like one of the dime-a-dozen young wageslave-turned-party girls that dominate the cybergoth scene in downtown Seattle. Perceptive sorts will note that her vacant stare is just a little too sharp, her attention just a little too inquisitive, to be real. Those who do business with her know her for the savvy hacker-turned-business woman that she is. And those who really know her, know her partner as well: a digital intelligence named Concierge who evolved from a sophisticated hospitality suite Axxess liberated from a life of servitude.
