Background

Berzerk started out as a soldier for Aztlan, usually fighting in high-high casualty battlefields. Regardless of the odds, he still seemed to come back alive each time despite often incurring multiple life threatening wounds. As an adept, he was able to bounce back relatively quickly just in time for the next deployment.
As is to be expected of Aztlan, war crimes and questionable morals tend to be dismissed. However, that policy doesn't necessarily extend to all of Aztlan's citizens. Eventually, one of the orders coming down the line was simply too much, and Berzerk went, well, berserk. He had murdered his commanding officer in the confusion of a firefight and somehow managed to slip away from the rest of his group.
After what he had done had fully sunk in, he scrambled to cover his tracks. While it was too late to avoid having the murder attributed to him, he managed to find and contact Alias; a SIN forger and hacker in Seattle. He had poured his life savings into her accounts in exchange for having his digital records, and his national SIN, wiped. He took the meager remains of his savings and arranged to be smuggled into Seattle so that he may find another line of work, and hopefully find a way to wipe away his bounty.
