Overview

Katheryn Riviera was born in Athans, Greece in May of 2057, however very soon after her parents received a contract from Aztechnology and soon the family moved to Tenochtitlan where they took up a very comfortable corporate apartment in the Aztechnology HQ. Katheryn was never exceptional in school, she was smart and driven, yes, but she didn't have the same fervor that many of those who had been born into the corporation had. She eventually became a member of Aztechnology's Cybercrimes division, taking on the name "Aphrodite" as an homage to her Greek heritage. Though was stuck in the mid-level position without any sort of forward momentum until late January where a bout of unstable mana travelling nearby a leyline forcibly Awakened her, granting her magical abilities and a way of advancing within the Awakened-central ranks of Aztechnology.

However after an incident some time ago, she lost her contract with Aztechnology and found out that she was being pursued by The Pantheon. She has since tried to hide out in Denver, but has recently moved to Seattle to try her hand at Shadowrunning.

Abrasive	Kathryn has never been the most social of people, and given recent hardships that's only gotten worse. When making a Contact Availability test to determine if she is available treat her Connection as 2 higher after adding any other modifiers.
Awakened Decker	Aphrodite is an Adept Decker of the Artisan's way, using her magic to enhance her already impressive abilities.
Wireless Problem? No Problem!	Aphrodite is a professional decker, and Matrix Security specialist. Though she also knows how to value her skills. Which means that if you use her services, you'll need to pay.
Nothing like Home (Cooking)	Growing up, Kathryn was never really a part of Aztechnology, though she did go through all the regular corporate things. +2 to knowledge checks to learn about Azlaner culture, Aztechnology details, and knowledge about Azlaner food.
Wanderlust	Kathryn doesn't like staying in one place too long, but unlike most Shadowrunners, it's not due to paranoia. +2 to Knowledge checks about locations, Seattle, Denver, Aztlan and Greece, but she also has second-hand information about the Carribean League, Europe, and the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi, and she is willing to do more research.
Puta Host	Having spent endless similar days of messing with a host she was supposed to guard, Katheryn has a burning hatred for data hosts and will take every opportunity to mess one up, for the right price.
Matrix Lover	Aphrodite loves the Matrix in all of its aspects, and is happy to share her love. +2 to Knowledge checks about Matrix-related topics, as well as Active checks to deal with Matrix actions.
