Summary

The DGSE is getting more active about getting rid of the N-51 problem, Shy being a runners and thus moving more and using matrix way more than any other troopers she was the priority target.

The Meet

As Babylon and Six were preparing for a little party night, Shy the third guest was late, and didn't seem to answered her comlink, Babylon though got a message from Shy mother saying that Commander warned her about an issue and the lack of manpower that was hindering there ability to perform a rescue.

As such the duo settled to meet Commander in the southern Barrens, received intel that Shy place was found bug and she is probably held in the country for a little time before being sent to France, if such a thing happen that would be bad as extraction from there would prove really difficult. The duo agree to help their friend and quickly go to Shy's place to investigate.

The Run

Inside Shy's house Gomorrah help calming down Archaeon while Babylon and Six procede to check on the hidden microphone and camera, asking a few favors from Cecelia Gross and the sheer willpower of a Cracking Sprite, they manage to get the location to which the microphone and camera transfer their feed. Following this track lead to Snohomish in a cottage near the river. There they found a group of shady looking individual wearing FBA and what seemed to be technician, a quick assault followed with a clever use of Mage Googles and stick and shot flechette. The overseer of the little group while capture, was highly uncooperative and tried to crack his suicide pills, but Babylon kept him alive and rather than getting mind probed, he decided to talk.

Shy wasn't in their hand as the DGSE work in cells, they reported to a superior that sent the orders to the "Service Action" who then carried the whole black bag. The guard being of the same service the information is gathered here, and the duo of runners learn that Shy has been brought up to an airstrip that is in the hand of a local North Barrens gang in order to smuggle out of Seattle ASAP. The duo called in N-51 squad "Judge" which promptly took care of the DGSE agents probably for interogation.

Rushing to the Air Strip, Babylon and Six infiltrate the location with an huge amount of magic, managing to evade even the adept alongside the DGSE goons. After knocking down two of them and liberating Shy, Babylon confronted the officer that seemed to be in charge, the question revolving about why the DGSE would bother with the N-51 after all those years has passed, the answer being that striking Aztechnology for the Blood Hawk also mean hitting Dassaut and as such it's seen as treason. After an arguement pretty sterile about the French Leadership and how it is easy to justify how the N-51 got to Rogue. Six and Babylon managed to get Shy out with a deal rather than another shootout.

Aftermath

Shy got freed and debriefed by the N-51 before being able to leave. Babylon and Six got the thanks from Commander for the clean op.

Six of Hearts

Glad to see Shy is alright. It's hard when your friends are involved in things you can't really help with, but thankfully we were able to get her back before anything too bad could happen. Good thing too... dead bodies send a hell of a message, and I'd rather not bring more heat down on a friend if i can avoid it... especially with a foreign Intelligence Agency-slash-Black Ops unit.
