A gifted child, Robin Cheng was on the fast-track to a well-paying if stressful job as a security spider when one of Wuxing's well-known geomantic projects went sideways. As his educational creche was overtaken by a freak mana storm, Robin ran for cover, but did not exactly escape unscathed. Injured. facial features unrecognizable, and bearing a viscerally horrifying appearance, Robin went off the grid, assumed dead. Working his way up as a drone manager and decker, the newly-renamed Ladybird Cheng has wormed, or rather, insected, his way into the big-time.<br />
