Summary

Jean is just one of those many awakened to escape becoming a wage mage, freedom in exchange for poverty, and a wildly informal education. Thankfully spirits have always taken a strange interest in him, enough so that he has learned enough to not kill himself on accident.

Find out why the spirits are so interested in him
Get out of the slums and develop his magic.

Background

He has managed to survive until now without getting geeked by selling his services occasionally and never catching the attention of anyone who'd want to tell the authorities about an unlicensed mage. Unfortunately times are tough and those little jobs just won't do it anymore so he's had to give in and start running.

Jean wears what he can afford, though he avoids anything fanciful that would say " Shoot me I'm a mage". Back in the South he was usually a bit more thrifty with his fashion though the Northern climate has had him covering up a bit more with whatever he can get his hands on.

Matrix Persona

Jean never really was much of a tech guy, why go into the matrix when you can astrally project after all? Even so his persona is is a simple black silhouette of himself.
