Docteur Vega Oberon Sojourner | A Lot of Traps |
Summary
Background
Docteur Vega regularly holds pro bono hours in her clinic, offering help with health to the less fortunate. One of such patients displayed *very* unusual symptoms - ones she eventually narrowed down to coal pneumoconiosis, also known as black lung. Given that Seattle is not exactly a mining community from decades ago, if more of these cases could be found, it would confirm almost undoubtedly that safety and pollution regulations were being broken by a local facility.
The Meet
Vega received a call from Father Uriel, a Catholic militant and spymaster she is in contact with, asking about information on vampire sightings in Kingsgate. Vega confirmed that she had heard the rumors amid her search, and was asked to look into them. Given that the rumored vampires allegedly emerged from tunnels in Kingsgate, the two investigations might even turn out to be related.
With the possibility of serious threats on the horizon, Vega opted to call in help. Oberon, a nocturna, would do well exploring in the darkness and ensuring they didn't trip any alarms or traps. Sojourner, as a spirit, would be a preferred line of defense against other supernatural beings.
