Summary

Contacting Luke Fairview, they find out that his son, Johanson, is kidnapped by Forever Tacoma for getting one of their members, George Frostman, out of the gang during Confessionals. They head over and eventually end up in a rather one-sided fight, which ends up getting Lone Star involved. However, due to the nature of the fight, none of the runners ended up in jail, and after a very bureaucratic process, they got the job done.

Background

George Frostman used to be a major physician within Forever Tacoma, fixing them up after many a scuffle. However, after one particularly profound Confessional with the young Johanson Fairview, he quit his ways and went to work as an honest man. This, of course, was a slight against the gang that they would not stand for, so soon after, Johanson would be in the clutches of the gang, being prepared for moving to Puyallup, and kept within a bar known as DeClerry's for the meantime, under the guise of being a Christian Talismonger.

The Meet

At the meet, it was rather cut and dry - the J, Luke Fairview, was rather cooperative for obvious reasons. Using their knowledge on illegal activity and kidnapping, they're able to deduct potential areas that they could've been kidnapped at based on their normal walking route.

The Plan

After psychometrising and figuring out that he may be in the bar, if not still is, they created a plan - they would enter in first to check if he was in there, then contact George Frostman for questioning, potentially tracking him down if he turns out to have not changed his ways. They would then go from there.

The Run

When it turns out that Johanson was in the bar, they had to improvise buying some drinks, it was mostly quiet until one of the gangers pigheadedly decided to steal the drink of Black Dog - it was their "welcome tax", as they put it. Snow White got ready, grabbing the gangers hand, which caused everyone's eyes to be turned to them. However, the decker was able to sneak into the bathroom, entering VR to do matrix work. When, after some time, their own decker tried to snoop on Snow White's comm, he was dataspiked and in an instant his deck bricked, greatly angering both him and the leader, Cormac.

The mage paid off the Lone Star guarding the place on the idea that the gang would simply be fist fighting the runners, but when they turned out to be outmatched, they quickly went to more lethal methods - which too failed them. But worse than that, the Lone Star heard the shots, took their Jazz, and bust into the scene. They only had to stick-n-shock one troll to the ground, as the rest went willingly or were unable to make that choice due to unconsciousness.

Aftermath

After a dashing of legal work from Lone Star, the gangers have been sent to jail and the runners got Johanson back to Luke without catching any charges - and, thanks to the half-assed search from Lone Star, without being scanned as cyborgs or infected.
