Doppel is a prototype transhuman, designed to be a social infiltrator/spy and tertiarily as being able to take out a high priority target with a sneaked in pistol. Unfortunately for the designers, while Doppel was extremely adept at the acting portion of things, she seemingly lacked the drive for being able to shoot and sneak they would have preferred. Still, by the end of her training, they considered her a moderate success, and dispatched her to the UCAS for intelligence gathering. Unfortunately (for the corp that made her), at 19 in Alina's life, she awoke with Raven quickly popping up to provide some amount of guidance, and she quickly went dark as she discovered that she did not want to be bound to the corp that she was affiliated with (And courtesy of Raven's prodding). Now, it's been 4 years since she's been dark, and EVO would very much like their investment back, preferably alive for deprogramming, but dead would do as well, and Doppel has been keeping to the shadows with her 'actual' SIN turned off. | |||
