Character Information
Summary
Often characterised as a gentle giant, Obasan is a hard-faced yet soft-spoken middle-aged street samurai that mostly engages in unarmed combat.
Goals
Wishes to retire to a permanent peaceful relaxed and modest lifestyle, with a wife and her trusty pet gomatia, Joji. Maybe kids.
Background
Born to a single parent in the slums of Redmond in a community of mostly south-east asians, Obasan had never knew much beyond the bounds of Seattle. Already challenged socioeconomically, things didn't fare much better when she went through goblinisation during puberty, making job prospects and life in general twice as hard.
Despite so, she persevered in making an honest living for herself, having travelled to practically every corner of Seattle from the barren wastelands of Puyallup to the high gates of Bellevue, working as many minimum wage jobs as possible before being picked up as a Knight Errant recruit. Dilligent and always delivering results, Obasan climbed ranks as fast as the performance optimising ware installed into her. However, her hard luck finally caught up to her with a punch that landed a little too hard on a priority intel target, kicking her out of the academy.
Fed up with the wrenches life keeps throwing at her despite all her best intentions, Obasan finally resorted to life as a runner, settling in Tacoma in search of a more fruitful career.
