Background

Conor grew up on the streets of Everett. He avoided gangs, survived by doing odd jobs and occasionally gambling on Brawl events, but he knew his time would be limited if he stuck around. Joining the UCAS Marines was supposed to be a way out - it was for a time. In the service, he learned to fight and got his first taste of 'ware and combat drugs. He also continued to closely follow Urban Brawl. During the Boston lockdown, he was deployed to the area. It was largely a hurry up and wait scenario punctuated with moments of thrilling combat.

He returned to Seattle after mustering out and spent all his savings on two oversized cyber-arms (earning him the moniker), and worked as a bouncer for a few clubs in the Bellevue area. In search of a new goal, he set his sights on becoming and Urban Brawler. This was never a great idea, given he doesn't really have that 'star' personality, though he does have the skill base to make it feasible. Attempting to realize his dream, he's been to a few open tryouts for practice squads, notably for Ares and Horizon, where he learned that he just didn't have the base speed necessary.

After saving again for a few years, he got his reflexes wired by Dr. Evan Cox. This was sure to be a boon to his Urban Brawl career, bringing him inline with 'ware that some of the actual names in the sport had. Unfortunately, it was a little more than his system was ready for and pushed him toward psychosis. But he knew he had to have more. The world was a smorgasbord of upgrades all just a payday away.

With the new upgrades installed and no open tryouts on the ledger, he went back to working as a bouncer. One night at a bar in Bellevue, he mixed it up with a couple of too-drunk-for-their-own-good Finnigan errand boys (boys because that's what they're called when they aren't 'made', not because they were youths). When the dust settled he had killed all three of them. Without really blinking he headed home as the bar was now due for a cleanup.

All of this lead the small time agent (fixer) he had been working with, Mindy Lew, to reconsider sending him to any public events, and instead steer him toward shadow work. She's still totally going to help him get in to UB. Shadow work is just to pay the bills in the mean time.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

• Cyber-Singularity Seeker - He's interested in cyberware. When someone walks in chromed to the teeth, he'll be interested.

Negative

• Addiction (Mild) - Betameth and Kamikaze. Addictive substances are indeed addictive. Narco helps.
• Lack of Focus - When you're so 'wared up, that your body moves faster than most people can think, sitting still for any stretch of time becomes a chore.
• Reduced Sense (Smell) - Some nerves got permanently burned out with his most recent upgrades.
• Records on File (Ares and Horizon) - When you go to walk on trials for a corps minor league Brawl team, they get to know a lot about you.
• Superhuman Psychosis - Ever since he had his reflexes jacked, it's just harder to relate to other people. They just seem so pitiful.
• Vendetta (Finnigan Family) - When you mix it up in a bar under their protection, they don't like that. Even less so when you leave several bodies and those bodies happen to be errand boys.
