Character Information

Summary

Nagual is quick with a smile or a joke to try and lighten the mood. wearing subdued clothes, and attempting to blend into the background when not easing tensions, he prefers to solve conflicts with words rather than violence, but if the situation calls for it, he isnt afraid to subdue his opponents by any means necessary. preferring non lethal methods when possible, after all, its better to live as a ghost and become a myth than to die a legend in a blaze of glory. commonly using illusion or trickery to get what he wants when words fail, and if that doesnt work... well lets just say that macuahuitl he carries isnt just for show. (Guardian Spirit summoned each morning and evening as a guardian with the blades skill, flavored as an ancestor spirit watching over him as a fledgling priest of the old ways) but he also has more modern solutions with Spells and his trusty TMP

Background

Born and raised in the city of Austin, Adrian has always had a.. difficult relationship with his home country, with proximity to the CAS and therefore more information, he realized at an early age that the state propaganda about the aztechnology and the blood mages was just.. wrong. it became way worse once he awakened and could feel the taint in the astral when looking at one corrupted by blood magic. surely it couldnt have always been this way? so after some digging and a few bribes, he was put onto the trail of his true history. Not one of bloodshed and needless sacrifice, but one of honor and interconnectedness. He fled soon after to Seattle to pursue more knowledge on the old ways, as well as to try and find his nahualli, his shadow soul, and to try and save not just the lives, but the souls of those in the old country. he will do whatever it takes to return to azatlan one day and bring back even in the shadows, the pride and honor of his people.

Mentor Spirit Boar: feels very protective over his home in the barrens and will attempt to protect his home and the downtrodden at all costs, in the astral and realspace.

===Negative=== Astral Beacon: as someone who Awakened more powerful than usual, he never quite learned how to keep his signature subtle, having to take twice the time to make sure his tracks are covered in the astral, while maintaining a cool facade in meat space, Nagual would feel naked without the help of his spirit companions, but he feels like there is more that he could be doing for them, a calling of something just outside of his reach (plans for chain breaker to be taken when I have the karma after gen, but will react negatively to spirits being mistreated even without)
