Summary

Background
In The Red Dragon's Back Rosalia was stabbed in the heart by a blood mage.
She disliked this greatly but kept the dagger as a trophy.
With the Ruby Athame being magically offensive to her and Annette at home, it was decided to clean the knife once and for all.
The Meet
Rosalia brings Annette to meet Eithne Cyneras at a nearby hotel, who explains that to cleanse a focus, one would need to unmake the enchantment in a background count sharing its aspect.
Rosalia spends a chip to learn both this and where a blood mage would be found.
The Plan
Uhhh. Go in, beat them up, cleanse the focus, profit?
The Run
Having been battered before the run due to completely avoidable reasons and bad (but fun) choices, the duo made their way into the OU with the aid of Lexy. Rosalia, being an elf dressed in a suit, got a notable amount of flack from the local Skraacha.
She assured them they were just going to clear out some shit from the lower levels, and the Skraacha eventually relented - albeit with a betting pool on whether or not they'd return.
Armoring up, doing drugs, and barely avoiding being addicted Rosalia and Annette got ready at their entrance to the lower tunnels. And immediately after, were jumped by a pair of punk vampire ladies.
Rosalia was KO'd instantly, but Annette - having barely withstood redirecting the manabolt, called on Iyaki to help.
Together, they bullied the shit out of the two vampires and applied a stimpatch that definitely didn't have edge spent to obtain. Definitely.
Limping back home, the Skraacha laughing their asses off, Rosalia and Annette crashed for the next day to recover.
AND THEN THEY RETURNED, WERE LAUGHED AT FURTHER, AND THEIR GENIUS PLAN OF 'GET IM' WORKED.
A failed attempt at boiling Rosalia's blood saw the blood mage's own blood boiling before her head was promptly removed from her shoulders. With the mage gone but the background lingering, Annette started to work at disenchanting the dagger - cleansing it entirely only five minutes later.
Aftermath
Annette and Rosalia have cleansed the stinky blood magic focus and gained a r1 weapons focus. They went home and had an incredibly gay evening.
